4. So has anyone reading this heard of SETI, and remember when we got that ping from another planet in 2016? We've had several pings over the past century but no one is willing to believe the pings are real. There's a argument going on about whether we should use SETI or not. People that are against SETI have a very good reason to be, if we sent out a message that attracts the wrong kind of attention it would most likely be the end of the human race.
