The Darkness Of Daylight

It was dark and I didn't know what was going on. Calling out with no answer to hear I curled up into a ball and started to weep, floating in the middle of nowhere with the fear of no one hearing me.

"Honey." Jumping out of my skin I heard a voice, I voice I knew. It was calm and quite, it called me.
"Honey, Don't give up. Fight him, fight the darkness."
"Mom is that you?"
"Yes, I'm sorry but your father and I are no longer around to help you."
"What are you saying?" With my eyes full of tears I tried to swallow the knot that sat in my throat.
"Don't cry my dear. Know that we love you and do the right thing, follow your heart." And so I was left in the darkness once again not knowing what to do....

With a gasp of breath I woke to see the faces of my friends.
"I need to see my parents, please take me to see them."
"Relax Bella, they fine. You don't need to worr-"
"NO!!!! I want to see them and I want to see them now. Tacia let go of me." using all my strength I could gather I tried to break free from Tacia's grip.
"BELLA!!!!! Relax please. Stop you going to hurt......" realizing my friend started bleeding I calmed down, only to see fear in her eyes.
"I'm so sorry Tacia, I don't know what came over me."
"It's fine. Bella I'm so sorry but your parents aren't here."
"Yea I know they at my house, right?"
"Bella we didn't want to tell you this but...."
"Tod allow me. Bella.... Your parents put up the strongest fight that any human has ever fought but Shawn was to strong and your parents couldn't handle it. I tried to protect them, I really did, but Shawn hit them with a fire ball and...."
"They didn't make it...." as my tears fought their way onto my cheek Tacia wrapped her arms around me.
"They ask me to protect you and that's what I'll do...." bursting the doors open Bronwyn yelled,
"Guys we have a problem......"
