Cara's heart races as she watches the angry man storm toward her. The weight of her mistake crashes down on her, and she makes a snap decision to flee, abandoning the cash. But before she can get far, Alex scoops her up, tossing her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, ignoring her kicks and protests.

"Let me down!"

As they march past the crowd and into the building, Cara's fury boils over. She thrashes and screams until the door slams shut, leaving her alone with the man who's caught her.

"Hands off the merchandise, pervert," she snaps, shoving his hands away as he sets her down. She takes two steps back.

The adrenaline fades, replaced by a sinking regret. She acted on impulse, like a movie hero rushing into danger without thinking. Her mistake? Claiming she's pregnant with one of the hottest celebrities right now.

In the real world, she's stuck in a tight spot with a guy who looks like he could crush her with one hand.

Cara's heart pounds as she sizes up the massive man blocking her escape. She scans the room, imagining a wild action sequence with a high-octane soundtrack. With a determined grin, she knows what she has to do.

Is it practical? No. But she's determined.

She sidles up to the two burly guards and gives them a confident smile. They tower over her, but she stands her ground. She's no stranger to bar fights.

In one quick move, she pushes past the guards and dashes toward the door, feeling like an action star as she dodges obstacles and laughs in exhilaration.

But just as she thinks she's free, two more massive figures appear and block her path. Cara's eyes widen, but she doesn't lose her cool. She channels her inner badass and charges at them with fierce determination.

As she lunges, her mind floods with a torrent of curse words. "Dickheads! Fucktards! Shit brains!" She even spouts a string of gibberish, "gsjaoakhsh." No one will ever understand that.

Every action hero faces setbacks before the climax. Cara's setback comes as the guards push her back toward the angry man while she hurls profanities at them.

Not her finest moment.

Cara finds herself back in front of Alexander, who looks over her with a mix of concern and annoyance. Despite her beauty, he's convinced she's escaped from somewhere.

Desperate to escape the mess she's made, Cara tries her best puppy-dog eyes. She blinks slowly, pouts her lip, and bites it, hoping to look cute.

"Hey," Cara continues blinking and adds a small wave. She feels utterly ridiculous but will try anything to get out of trouble.

Alexander's eyes stay fixed on her as he keeps his hands buried in his grey suit pockets, his expression a mix of irritation and confusion.

"Do you even realize the gravity of what you just did?" he asks slowly, trying to stay calm.

"This wouldn't have happened if you paid up," Cara retorts, her adrenaline kicking in as she defends herself. But as Alexander steps closer, her confidence drains away.

"First, that wasn't the right place to park your bike, and second, I'm not giving you a dime."

Alex doesn't know how Marcus hit her bike but figures it was poorly parked.

Cara knows her bike wasn't perfectly parked but argues that she's always parked it that way and no one had ever knocked it over before.

"Th-then I - I..." Cara stutters.

Stuttering isn't her norm, but being this close to Alexander makes her nervous.

Alexander checks his watch and mutters, "What am I doing talking to you? Show her the back door." He orders his security, walking away.
