Avoiding being pelted with food completely, Nene stepped out for a second to pick up the umbrella she'd carelessly left behind. Spying it closeby, she hurried to go pick it up when she saw the leaflet gone. Bewildered, she started searching for it only to come up empty.

Standing clueless on the porch, she caught a small light not that far away, curiosity taking over, she picked up the umbrella and began hurrying towards the light.

She stopped across from the pond, she noted a lantern on the other side and it slightly crushed her adventurous side, she approached it gloomily and was startled to see someone napping against the pole. When she took a closer look, the hair and the well structured face became recognisable. Her eyes widened in excitement and the frown on her face turned upwards into an impatient shaky smile.

Taking a chance, she kneeled down next to him and tenderly moved his head into her lap; he thankfully didn't stir and instead relaxed even more. Nene couldn't contain her happiness, he looked so calm and comfortable, she began running her hands through his hair and was pleasantly surprised at it's softness.

As a reflex maybe, he turned around to face her stomach, still asleep, and wrapped his arms around her waist, burrowing his face into her kimono. She flushed at the sudden contact but went back to playing with his hair, a colour of which she found she really liked.

She noticed a gleam of something shiny in his pocket, she was so tempted to take a look at what it was but decided that if he woke up and her hand was in his pocket...

Screw it, she reached for the shiny thing and found it feeling pretty familiar, when she actually took a look at it, she felt her heart skip a beat and her stomach jump. He'd kept it with him this whole time? -A naturally optimistic person she was, but she wasn't wrong.

Kamui felt someone rummaging through his pockets, that and he was laying on someone. He guessed it was Nene. A few seconds passed and he guessed she was looking at her hairstick... That he kept with him... That was slightly embarrassing. Then he felt a small pressure on the side of his head and a small breath, he felt her playing with his hair and moving it away...

He opened his eyes and looked up at her, who was distracted and looking up at the moon. He saw her soft expression, the gentle smile, the glowing white of her skin, the slight pink of her lips, her long eyelashes and her stunning gold eyes, her hair that had gotten a little messy, the overall beauty of her. He grinned, "You know you're supposed to kiss me here." gesturing to his own lips; when he spoke, Nene's head snapped down to him and her expression was adorable, it was like she'd been caught doing something embarrassing; then after he'd spoken, she blushed an incredible red.

He chuckled and laid his head back into her stomach, a rare smile gracing his lips; but she couldn't see that. She frowned comically down at him, "Don't tease me like that!" grabbing his head and lifting it up before quickly rotating herself to face him and plopping his head back down on her thighs. He pouted minisculely, and asked her why she moved, she replied with "It's comfier this way."

He adjusted himself and found a comfortable position, before long he'd drifted off again with Nene looking sweetly down at him. She placed her hand over his and began to stroke his hair with her free hand, finding the lowkey slob-like way of sleeping to be absolutely adorable.

She heard footsteps approaching and quickly turned to shush them, she was relatively surprised to see Yoshitaka hurrying over. At her confused expression he told her, "I've lead the three visitors out, are you staying out here?" in a hushed voice of course.

She nodded and looked fondly at Kamui, fast asleep in her lap.

The next day, Yoshitaka almost had a fit when he saw Nene still outside, sleeping with her face dropped over that villain's. It was bad for her neck! He was surprised her hair hadn't irritated the villain, seeing as it was lightly sprawled over his face. He wasn't going to admit it, but the picture was beautiful.

Nene seemed to wake first, noticing that he now held her hand unlike before. She squinted, eyes adjusting the the morning light. She could not feel her legs at all, but for this outcome, it was definitely worth it.

Although he'd slightly drooled on her kimono, she found it cute and wiped away the saliva with her sleeve, unphased about dirt and grime by this point, I mean she slept in it.

However during her little tidy up, he stirred and opened his eyes a crack to look at her. Just like he expected, even when having slept in the dirt, her beauty in the morning is something else. He preferred the evening though. Thankfully, they were under the shade of a tree so he didn't have to move and get under shelter right away.

When she noticed his eyes open she grinned, "Good morning! Did you sleep well?" Her eyes followed him as he sat up rubbing his eyes, he turned and sat facing her.

"Yeah..." He yawned, leaning back and looking up at the cloud filled sky. He heard a small 'oh!' before he was handed his old umbrella, "What's this for?"

"It's pretty sunny today, so just in case... I noticed you are without one right now, I'm sorry..." She answered, opening the umbrella that he didn't take. She looked really good with it swung over her shoulder...

He was confused at why she apologised though. Maybe it was just in her personality...

"Nene-sama!" Yoshitaka broke the small moment between the two, "Breakfast is ready for you two." as he spoke those words, Nene could hear Kamui's stomach rumble harshly, to which she laughed at and he groaned, not remembering the last time he ate.

"Could you start cooking another round?" Nene requested with a bright smile, helping the starved Kamui up and holding his arm close to her under the shade.

"Will do Milady." He bowed and left quickly, leaving Kamui and Nene to cross over the bridge and make their way to the dining room.

She noticed something off about him though, and she was about to ask him what the problem was when he interjected.

"I want you to cook my food..." He grumbled, standing up straight and taking the umbrella from Nene, holding it higher above their heads.

"Then leave a little space and I will afterwards.~" She chimed. A cheery smile on her face that anyone in the household could agree, they'd never seen around anyone but him.
