When two worlds collide

Chapter 4

Lincoln POV: 

After I left her there I could feel her heart breaking through our bond. It broke my heart to see that I have caused her this pain.

Layla POV: 

It's been exactly a week since seeing him and getting my heart broken. It's been a week since I haven't left my room, eaten and cried myself to sleep. I feel dead inside like my whole soul has been taken away from me. Staring blankly out the window, I look towards the woods like I have been doing this placed week waiting for him to come to me.

Lincoln POV:  

It's been a week since I left her standing there is the middle of the clearing, heart broken. I have been trying to decide what I should do about this situation. My wolf hasn't spoken to me since that day I am beginning to wonder if she still wants me after what I did to her. I shouldn't have left her I feel as though piece of me is missing without her.

Slamming open the door to my office, I quickly strip myself and change into my wolf to go see her. I can't stand being away from her anymore. I have to make her mine. Now!

Running as fast as I can, I make my way towards her castle to claim her as mine. Arriving at the castle I notice her sitting on her window ledge looking into the woods. Without letting her see me, I shift back into human form put on some shorts and start climbing the side of the castle to her room.

Once I manage to get to the window of her room I gently tap the window causing her to jump.  

"What are you doing here?" she asked me. She looked so broken and it broke my heart knowing that I caused that to happen to her.  

" I am sorry that I ran away from you, it's just that my family was killed by your kind. But that shouldn't matter because your my mate and I need you. I heard her draw in a deep breath before she looked into my eyes and spoke.  

"You left me there broken hearted. Did you know how I felt? I felt as though I was being rejected by the one person I love the most in this world" I watched as a tear rolled slowly down her cheek. Reaching out a hand to wipe the tear away I began to answer.  

"I know what I did was wrong but I needed sometime to think about things. I am sorry I should of just talked to you about everything instead of running away. I love you so much already and I promise that I will never let you go." After saying that I waited for her to reply, what seemed like ages she did something I never thought she would do not yet anyway.

She kissed me. It was one of the most exotic kisses that I have ever had before in my life and I never wanted it to end. So pulling her in closer to me I traced my tongue along her bottom lip. As soon as I did this she gasped, giving me the opportunity to explore her mouth. As I was doing this I felt myself getting hard, her taste was so addictive that I wanted to have more. Lowering my hands down her beautifully slim body I cupped her ass with my hands lifting her up so I could carry her over to her bed.

Lowering her gently on the bed I pull back to look into her eyes to see the same thing that would be showing in my eyes love and need. Ripping her clothes off I began to travel kisses down her body. While sucking on one of her breasts I start to massage her causing her to shiver beneath me. As her breaths decided to get heavier I put two fingers in her and started to pump really fast making her moan aloud over and over again. As she reached her peak her body began to tremble and scream my name from those kissable lips of hers. Easing my fingers out of her I draw back the covers to the bed, while placing us both underneath them. After kissing her head good night I wrap my arms around waist pulling her into my body and falling into a deep dreamless sleep.
