When two worlds collide

Chapter 14

Lincoln POV:

Entering the large oak door to the pack house, I looked up to see all eyes on me. If I wasn't alpha it would have caused me to shrink back from all the tension filling the room. The tension was so thick it felt like I was about to choke from it. My beta Sam was the first to speak "Where have you been Lincoln?" he asked curiously.

"I have been with my mate" I stated using my alpha voice, throwing every inch of authority I have with it. This caused gasps and murmurs to occur throughout the hall.

"You will all be meeting her this Friday at the grand ball I will be organising" I said while looking into the sea of people. Nods and murmurs of agreement erupted through out the pack. As this happened I saw Sam nod his head towards my office. With a sharp nod I made my way through the mass of people into the office.

"Your mate is the princess of the vampires isn't she" Sam asked me as soon as I entered the office, with an eyebrow raised.

"How the hell did you know?" I demanded looking him in the eyes, this just caused him to chuckle at me.

"I followed you" after he said this I punched him in the arm.

"Ouch man why did you do that?" he asked with a pout on his face.

"Pervert" I stated with a smirk on my face.

"Hey I just wanted to know where you were sneaking off too" he replied with an innocent look on his face. That cheeky little bastard! He's lucky he's my best friend else I would have killed him.

"Yeah yeah whatever man" I replied while rolling my eyes at him.

"So what is she like?" he asked. Just that one question sent me into a daze.

"I guess she really is beautiful then, I can't wait to meet her" this cause a growl to escape from me.

"MINE!!" I growled at him and he suddenly bursted into laughter.

"She already has you whipped" he managed to say through his laughter, this caused me to murmur under my breath. It's not my fault she has me whipped. Grrr!

"But I wouldn't change it for the world" I answered with a dreamy face. This caused him to smile, I can tell that he's really happy for me. I can't wait until he finds his.

Layla POV:

It's been about three hours since he has left and I miss him terribly. I just want to go and see him. Making my decision there and then, I quickly throw on a pair of ripped jeans and a skin tight stripy top I walk out the door.

Using my vampire speed I was there in no time, I started banging on the door of the pack house waiting for him to answer. Suddenly the door swung open revealing my delicious looking mate. Not having anytime to say hello, he grabbed me by the waist and closed the door. After the door was closed he stepped back from me looking at my outfit. After he looked at me from head to toe he looked me straight in the eyes. I could see the lust in them, then with in a second I was slammed against the door with my mates body right up against mine. Suddenly his lips crashed to mine, I could feel the passion, love and need all pouring into the kiss. It made me want more so I jumped up and hooked my legs around his waist to bring us even closer. As the kiss began to get more heated I could feel him pressing against my core making me moan aloud. Moving his lips to my neck he started to slowly suck and bite at my skin. This caused me to grind our hips together making us both moan aloud. As the passion grew, the grinding became more faster. Suddenly there was a sharp bite to my neck. I knew that he was marking me as his mate. This caused me to moan and scream his name until finally I climaxed. After that all I remember is falling asleep in his arms and dreaming about what just happened. I can't help but think how lucky I am to have a mate like Lincoln.
