When two worlds collide

Chapter 7

Lincoln POV:

After jumping from her window ledge and shifting into my wolf form, I took off into the woods at full speed towards the pack house. It took everything I had in me not to turn around and go have my way with my mate. I can't wait until I mark her as mine. My wolf is beginning to become restless as he wants to mate Layla already. Mmmm just thinking about her beautiful body turns me hard. Oh shit! While thinking of something disgusting to help get rid of my problem, I shift back into human form and walk into the pack house.

As soon as I enter the house, I can hear the loud chatter from the members of my pack. There are around 200 members, we are one of the biggest and strongest packs in the world. Now back to the situation in front of me.

"QUIET!" I shouted using my alpha voice causing every person in my pack to shrink back from the authority in my voice.

"Would someone want to tell me what the fuck is going on" I said as I looked around the room at my pack members. All of a sudden my beta was by my side telling me what has happened.

"There as been an attack, two women have been taken and we suspect that rogues are behind this" Sam my beta replied. After he said this it got me thinking why would rogues attack my pack. They know that I would be after them as soon as I got word that this has happened also we have an alliance with them. Something seemed off about this, I decided that I wanted to go to the scene and see that I could find.

As I arrived at the scene my blood ran cold. I know that smell anywhere and I know that is not a rogue that has done this. It was my uncle. Ever since my parents and sister died, my uncle has been trying to attack my pack and claim it as his. He was always jealous of my father because he did not carry the alpha gene he has been seeking revenge on packs all over the world because of it. There is only one thing that he does to these packs to make them suffer. He takes women from all kinds of packs and rapes them. We have to find him before anything can happen.

Back at the pack house, I call all the male wolves in the pack and tell them what is going on.

"This has not been a rogue attack but it has been my uncle" After I said this the whole room erupted into murmurs and growls. Everyone knew what my uncle was capable of and are pissed that he thinks he can get away with it here.

"I want you all to shift right away and head into the woods so we can begin our search." As soon as I said this everyone was racing out of the pack house and into the woods.

Searching everywhere around the woods, we were unable to catch any scent of them at all. It was as if they just disappeared out of thin air. Except as we approached the boarder line of our territory the sight in front of me, made my wolf and I rage with anger.

There laying on the forest floor in front of us was the two women that had been taken. Their bodies were bloody and bruised all over. By the side of them was their clothes that have been ripped to shreds. What makes matters even worse was that after they had been raped they were brutally murdered. It made my blood boil knowing that my uncle has done this to members of my pack. After telling a few of my pack members to take care of their bodies, I made my way back to the pack house with Sam.

As soon as I entered the house, I went into my office to change into some shorts and a t-shirt. Glancing at the clock to see what time it was, it read 4:55pm. Deciding that I need to go and see my mate so I could just hold her and forget everything, I exit the pack house and make my way to her.
