5 || Surprise

It's been hours and hours since liam and I are working together. He's being a really good teacher for me now. He taught me almost everything about the cafe.

I looked at the clock hanging above the door. It showed 4 :06 pm. I still had 1 hour till my shift finishes. I sighed and turned back to get inside kitchen since cafe is deserted almost.

I took a coffee cup and placed it under the machine. Pressed those 3 buttons which liam showed me and coffee started pouring out. I waited for a minute and grabbed it.

As i was about to walk out, Liam met in half way. He was standing a bit weird. I gave him that look of asking whats-wrong? He shook his head.

"We've got surprise for you zayn. Seems like you're tired and you need it." He spoke up and moved on his spot where was standing.

"Ah yeah what's surprise?" I asked excitedly.

"Daddyyyy." Dean ran over to me as liam moved away from his tracks. God. His voice is enough to make me feel better.

I crouched down to pick him up in my arms as he was racing down towards me.

"Oh god Deanieee. How did you get here baby?" I asked as dean wrapped his small arms around me resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Nana come with me. dean miss daddy." He spoke against my shoulder.

"Awuh. Daddy misses dean too." I replied and squished him into hug.

He wiggled in my arms giggling as i tickled him. His soft laughs gives me life honestly.

"Lets go to Nana." I told him as he nodded quickly. I almost forgot about Liam standing there adoring our father-son moments. He had that contagious smile stuck on his face.

"Thanks." I said as we passed by him.

We got outside and found my mum sitting on the table in last corner. She's been scanning through the menu and dean disturbed her.

"Nana. I supise daddy. Yay." He squealed as he struggled to get out of my grasp and run over to mum. His adorable words when he can't really pronounce.

Mum gave him that warm smile and i put him down letting him go.

"How are you doing so far on your first day sweetie?" Mum asked as I stood by her.

"It's been incredible mum." I smiled and kissed her cheeks. Relieving fun moments i spent with liam that morning made my smile wider.

"Sorry to spoil mother-son moments but Would you like to have anything ma'am?" Liam piped in, grinning his best.

"Lili. Nana. Lili my friend." Dean opened his arms and asking liam to pick him up. Liam immediately scooped him up in his arms.

"Oh so you're liam." Mum rose her brows at him. Damn i didn't even know why i started sweating.

"Yeah." he replied as he played with dean's hair making him giggle all the way.

"Heard a lot about you." Mum said and i coughed nervously.

"Yeah?" he asked as he couldn't hear it properly.

"Yeah. Dean talks about you a lot." Mum replied and i breathed out.

"Well its almost time of your Shift to get over right?" Mum asked.

"Yeah a bit more and I'm out."

"And which is special coffee here?"

"I.. Don't know? Liam?" I looked at Liam.

"Cold Crème  Latte" he grinned.

"I'd like to have that one." Mum ordered sweetly.
