Chapter 2: Awkward Momento
Kim's POV
Doesn't he even know that I just got here and I need some rest? Michael just like what I have said in the first chapter of the story is Jake's older brother.
"Sige Tita, Im coming downstairs."
As I walk down the stairs Michael got up the sofa and waited for me to go there. I dont know how to approach him, if I should go hug him, pero that will be awkward so wag na lang. Bigla siyang nag salita nung nasa living room na ako.
"Kim, welcome back! How was your flight?" Sabi niya
"Hi Michael! Ok naman medyo tired."
"Sorry I bothered you agad agad." He the scratched his head. Nahihiya ata eto, hahaha pareho lang kami o.O
"It's ok! How did you know that Im here already?"
"Sinabi kasi ni Mommy sa amin kanina na nakauwi na daw kayo. I don't know how she found out."
"Oh that's why! So how have you been?"
"Ok naman, parang naman hindi tayo nag uusap noh!" He paused for a few seconds and said, "Iba pala pag in person."
"Hahaha! Syempre it's different in person. Yea, super and ang awkward pag in person noh, ayy naku!"
"Well true, so can I invite you over dinner? Let's go out." What already!! he must be serious when he told me that he wants to chill with me when I get back to Manila. Ang bilis naman niya, hahaha! Pero this is what I want naman din to ease all the pain that I have been going through for the past few months because of his loving brother. Malandi siya! Tae niya! Ako naman itong tanga na umasa.
"Sige! What time?"
"Ngayon na pwede?" Wow! Shocking!!!
"What you said dinner?" Exaggerated kong itinanung
"I want to be able to chill with you agad, sorry it was a surprise." Yes I am surprised!!
"Sige okay lang, namiss ko naman din mag chill around the area. Wait lang let me just get my stuff."
I head back in my room. Good thing I already took a shower and I don't smell bad na. After grabbing my stuff I said bye to Tita and she was surprised that I will gala na kaagad hahaha! We head out to Michael's car. He opened the door for me what a gentleman.
"Saan naman tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko while he is driving
"Saan mo ba gusto?"
"Tara sa Chatime?" Our favorite tea shop in T.O
"Saan yun?"
"They have it at Landmark tapos lets eat na lang sa Greenbelt para its close."
"Sige" tipid niyang sagot
We head to Landmark and straight to Chatime. I don't know why I have decided to go to Chatime although I just had it nung isang araw I guess I have missed Toronto already. Hahaha
"What do you want to drink Kim?"
"I'll have Jasmine Green Milk Tea with coffee jelly."
"Anything to eat? They have donuts, cakes and cookies."
"I'll have a slice of red velvet."
"Sige wait for me there na lang ako na bahala." he said pointing to the empty table
"Sige thanks!!!"
After 5 minutes of waiting he came in the table
"Here's your drink." Inabot niya sa akin ang aking milk tea and red velvet cake, tapos umupo na siya.
