Death may have taken you from me Dad, but my life's hero you'll forever be. I'm never gonna forget you. I have these dreams of you like I never have before. Is that a good thing? I think it is a wonderful thing. I even take the time out of my day to write in my diary about you. You remember the diary don't you? It's the one you gave me when I wanted to start writing how my day with you went. Only so I can go back to those moments and reread the events of those days. And picture them in my head. I really miss you dad. I know your in a better place but I can't help to have you on my mind. I wonder what is it like in heaven? Do you like it up there? Have you experienced anything amazing? I know you might think I'm asking you so many questions but I'm not. I just want to know if your ok. I have a feeling your doing fine. Your probably looking down at me. When your high cheek bones rising as you smile. There is no man in this world to show me the love I need than you. How about I play our favorite song by Selena. The one me and you always cry in tears from. I can just see you singing alone with it. Well let's do that dad. Let's sing along to it as it plays.

"Dreaming Of You"
Late at night when all the world is sleeping
I stay up and think of you
And I wish on a star that somewhere you are
Thinking of me too
Cause I'm dreaming of you tonight
Till tomorrow I'll be holding you tight
And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be
Than here in my room dreaming about you and me
Wonder if you ever see me
And I wonder if you know I'm there
If you looked in my eyes
Would you see what's inside
Would you even care?
I just wanna hold you close
But so far all I have are dreams of you
So I wait for the day (wait for the day)
And the courage to say how much I love you
Yes I do!
I'll be dreaming of you tonight
Till tomorrow I'll be holding you tight
And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be
Than here in my room dreaming about you and me
(Corazón)
I can't stop dreaming of you
(No puedo dejar de pensar en ti)
I can't stop dreaming
(Cómo te necesito)
I can't stop dreaming of you
(Mi amor, cómo te extraño)
Late at night when all the world is sleeping
I stay up and think of you
And I still can't believe
That you came up to me and said I love you
I love you too!
Now I'm dreaming with you tonight
Till tomorrow and for all of my life
And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be
Than here in my room dreaming with you endlessly
With you tonight
And there's nowhere in the world where I'd rather be
Than here in my room I'll be dreaming
With you tonight
(In my sleep)

Dreaming Poem
.......................................................................................................................................................................
Or a man who looks like him.
I only know I call him Daddy
(as all southern women
do until the day we die).
In my dreams he is still alive
and this is not a comfort.
I am my best when tragic.
Grief becomes me.
Daddy is more real in death,
eyes dark, undimmed
by the grave, smile less sincere.
Matter clings to his thick
eyebrows, his mouth spits mud
when he tries to talk. He is candid.
He tells me he liked my sisters better than me.
Most times I search for him in a crowd
of counterfeit Daddies.
I look for pieces of him.
An elbow. Black hair on the back
of a pale neck. If I find him,
I will say, Is that you?
I know you this time.
For my father, my friend,
This to me you have always been.
Through the good times and the bad,
Your understanding I have had.
A gentle man at heart,
This sets you apart,
From the others I've seen,
You mean so much to me.
The laughter we have shared,
Cannot be compared.
The tears I have shed,
As you lovingly nodded your head.
You have always been there,
With a smile and a hug,
A precious gift from our God up above.
The times that I have been down and sad,
Your silly ways could always make me glad.
You gave me strength to carry on,
Even when all hope seemed to be gone.
The lessons in life that I have learned,
Are from your genuine love and concern.
With deep appreciation for all you have done.
You, Dad,
Are my number one.
With all my love, Your Daughter, Your Friend..................................................................................................................................................................
Waking up fast out of her sleep she felt her heart beating repeatdly. In a fast paste. She was having dreams of the things her and her dad would do together and it to her seem it was no way she was gonna manage to make it through the night. So she grabbed the pillow and her blanket and it took it over to the window ill to laid her head down on it and try to go back to sleep. Before doing that she said a prayer to her God and slowly laid her head on her pillow and eventually was sound asleep. As if nothing happen. She hopes that she never has to wake up like that again. That was scary but mostly terrifying.
