Chapter 17: Old Friends

💜Aphmau's P.O.V💜

It's currently mid July and the heat is starting to become unbearable for all of us. But we've taken advantage of the fact that we have a pool and are planning to use it later on.

I'm sweating like mad and so is Aaron. It seems worse for him though because of his ears and tail. He's even panted a few times.

I've recently reconnected with some old friends and they'll be coming over any minute now. I can't wait to see them again.

*Ding Dong*

The doorbell rings and I rush to front door, swinging it open.

"Dottie! Spring! Rylan! Daniel! Blaze! It's so great to see you all again. It's been so long. How have you all been?" I greet them.

"We've been great Aphmau. We're moving in to a place a few streets away from here in a few months so we should be able to see each other more often from now on!" Dottie replies.

"Hey guys." Aaron greets as he come up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Alpha!" Daniel cheers.

I almost forgot to mention. Aaron and the others are in a pack now. There's also Maria in their pack but she wasn't able to make it today and we also weren't exactly friends when we were younger. She seemed to dislike me for some strange reason.

Everyone is still adjusting to the fact that Aaron is a werewolf but we're all getting used to it and we all support him in touching into his werewolf ancestry.

Katelyn is still a bit unsure about the situation but it's understandable seeing as her younger brother Kacey was beaten up really badly by Ein in high school.

Speaking of Kacey, he's also been visiting Katelyn more often and is trying to get used to the fact that Travis likes Katelyn and is become an overprotective brother instead of Katelyn being overprotective of him which is what usually happens.

The pack all come inside and walk through the house and out to the back garden where we all go in the pool. I've been practicing a lot recently. We all spend hours catching up and talking and laughing while also occasionally dunking each other and the boys had a few races.

Dottie, Spring and I cheered them on of course although I was rooting for Aaron and I noticed that Dottie called out Blaze's name more often, not to mention that she hugged him when he won.

It's around 6:00 at night now and they're all getting ready to head home.

But what I also noticed is that Blaze and Dottie snuck a few glances at each other when thy thought that we weren't looking. I hope they get together soon. I think they'd make a great couple. They both have bright and bubbly personalities and it would be unlikely that they'd clash.

I should've taken a picture to show to Kawaii~Chan so that she can give them her stamp of approval and a ship name. I guess it would be Blottie or maybe even Daze. I'm not quite sure yet.

Rylan told us that him and June are still together and things have been going smoothly however they did break up after high school but they got back together again when they ran into each other a few years ago and started to develop feelings for each other again.

He also told us that he's planning to propose to her soon. He loves her that much. I wonder what it'd be like if Aaron proposed to me. It'd be amazing and a dream come true.

Spring, who is Dottie's younger sister recently graduated from college and is planning to move in with the other members of the wolf pack. She however is currently single and told us that she's been in past relationships with both girls and boys. Human, Meif'wa and Werewolf.

She told us that she's thinking of going into the fashion industry and wants to make a bold statement so we told her about Cadenza and her new shop and that she has some job vacancies as she's only just started up. Spring told us that she'll go there at some point in the coming week.

I'm so glad that we all got in touch again though and I hope that we'll all be seeing a lot more of them soon.

🖤Zane's P.O.V🖤

Next week is mine and Kawaii~Chan's 6 month anniversary.  It doesn't even feel like it's been that short to me though. It feels as if we've been together forever. And I'd like it to stay that way.

That's why I'm going to make our anniversary special.

I pull out the small box from under my bed and observe the small item hidden inside of it before quickly putting it away so that my brothers don't discover it. I'll have to show it to them at some point though.

Now that I think about it, I should probably call mom and dad to meet Kawaii~Chan before I put my plan into action. I already know that they'll approve of her and she'll get along with mom so well.

I get my phone out and go through my contacts until I reach my mom.

Well, here goes nothing.

Can anyone guess what it is that Zane has in the box?

What will Zianna and Garte's reaction be when they find out what Zane is planning?

And what will happen between the werewolf pack and their blossoming romances?
