We arrive at the restaurant and are seated in our reserved spot almost immediately.
After ordering our food I decide that this is the time that I need to tell him. This is the time he finds out the truth about me.
I take a deep breath and prepare myself for what I'm about to say.
"Zane. I have something really important to tell you." I start and he nods his head as a way of telling me to continue.
"Kawaii~Chan isn't my real name. It's just one I gave myself so that I could be unique," I looks up and see him looking shocked. "I come from a family that all have the same hair and eye colours and I would often get mistaken for my 11 brothers and sisters because of that. I named myself Kawaii~Chan after seeing the character Kawaii~Cookie." I add.
"So what is your real name?" Zane asks.
"My name is Nana. But please, keep this a secret between the two of us. I'm not ready for everyone else to know about this yet." I negotiate.
He smiles and nods his head while holding my hand from across the table.
"Of course Nana." He replies. "Don't worry, I'll keep it just between the two of us for now."
Afterwards our food arrives and we eat it while talking about my past and he tells me how he too struggled to stand out because he was undermined by Garroth even though Garroth didn't realise he was doing it. Now I understand why Zane used to always stay out of everyone's way and still does it sometimes without realising it.
After we had our dinner at the restaurant, we head back to his house but along the way I stop off at mine and Katelyn's home to grab my presents for him.
We head inside his house and sit in he living room. But one thing stands out to me. Everything feels to quiet to me, like there's something big happening and I don't know about it.
Eh. Must be my imagination.
We exchange presents and are both delighted by what we got each other.
I put on the new earrings and bows he got me right away and Zane told me that they make me look even more beautiful causing me to blush slightly.
"Kawaii~Chan, can you follow me for a moment?" Zane asks and takes my hand.
I nod my head and we get up and head out to the back garden.
When we make it outside the first thing that I notice is that fairy lights are strung around the garden, on fences and from tree branches, and that candles are scattered around the garden so that it's lit up.
It looks magical.

I look around in awe at all of the pink tinted fairy lights that are strung around the garden and breathe in the sweet aroma of the vanilla scented candles.
"Zane, it's beautiful." I say, still mesmerised by all of the pretty lights.
"But not as beautiful as you though." He replies and smiles at me.
"Thank you Zane. For everything." I thank and smile back at him.
"Actually, Kawaii~Chan, I should be the one thanking you. Since we got together and even before that when we were just friends, you improved me and my liked so much and for that I have to thank you. I always thought that no one would ever truly love me and that I was incapable of that too but you showed me that I was was wrong." He explains. "And because of that I can tell you that I love you and will never stop loving you. Even though it's only been half a year since we've been together, to me it feels like so much longer. And now because of that I'd like to ask you something." He adds.
At this point silent tears of joy are coming from my eyes and I can already tell what's coming next.
Zane pulls out a small velvet box from his back pocket and opens it to reveal a gold and pink ring before he gets down on one knee.
"Kawaii~Chan, will you marry me?" He asks and I start to nod my head while putting my hand over my mouth.
"Yes...of course I will." I answer and Zane gets up and puts the ring on my finger before we share a passionate kiss.

He looks over his shoulder towards the house and shouts.
"You can all come out now."
I gasp as all of our friends come rushing out the door to congratulate us, happy that we both found 'the one' for each other.
"Kawaii~Chan!" All of the girls about before pulling me into a massive group hug.
"Can't...breath. Too...tight." I wheeze and they all loosen their grip on me before pulling away.
"Zane! Aphmau and I recorded it all and I sent it to our parents." Garroth mentions and for once Zane doesn't freak out. That must have been what he was talking to his parent about right before they left last week.
"Congratulations!" Everyone shouts in unison.
The rest of the night is spent filled with happiness and laughter as we celebrate our engagement.
Zane and I decide to have an engagement party once his mom calls and manages to convince him that it'll be a good idea causing everyone to cheer again.
Today has been one of the best days of my life. I told Zane about my true self and I'm going to be getting married. Things could not get any better at this point.
What does the future hold for Zane and Kawaii~Chan's/Nana's relationship?
What will happen at the engagement party?
And will any of the other relationships take another step forwards?
