Chapter 27: Morning Sickness

Last chapter I asked if Daniel x Maria should be a ship and someone said yes so I'm adding it in to the book soon. 

💜Aphmau's P.O.V💜

As I finish throwing up in the toilet this morning it dawns on me that this is the eighth day in a row that this has happened. Thankfully, Aaron has already been at work the majority of those days and so hasn't seen me in this poor state.

I sit and think for a moment and my eyes widen at the realisation that I'm late. I was supposed to start 5 days ago.

I put my hand to my forehead, wiping away the sweat that's been building up there.

What if I'm pregnant? What will Aaron think?!

Calm down Aphmau, just buy a test and see what the results come out as. I reassure myself.

All of a sudden, the doorbell rings and a shout can be heard.

"Aphmau! It's me, Melissa. We're supposed to be going shopping today, remember?" Melissa hollers.

I walk down the stairs and open the door to find a beaming Mellisa, Werewolf ears and tail showing, but as soon as she sees me her smile went away.

"Come in Melissa." I state and move out the way so she can walk in, shutting the door behind her.

"Aphmau, are you okay? We're cancelling the shopping trip if you aren't and we'll just hang out here instead." She states.

I shake my head and look her in the eye, preparing myself for what I'm about to tell her. Aaron is her brother after all.

"Melissa. I think I might be pregnant." I tell her.

Her face lights up and she hugs me really tightly.

"That's amazing Aphmau! I'm going to be an aunt!" She exclaims. "Wait a second, have you told Aaron yet?" She continues and I shake my head.

"I don't even know for sure if I am yet though Melissa. I still need to go and buy a test and use it to see if I am." I explain as Melissa releases me from the bear hug.

"Just leave it to me Aphmau! I'll be back in around 20 minutes with your test." Melissa responds and runs out of the house to her car and drives away to the store.

I sigh to myself and sit down in the living room and turn on the TV to watch an episode of Fairy Tail while I wait for her to get back.

20 minutes later, my episode finishes and I hear a car pull up outside and Melissa comes running to the door, test in hand.

I open the door for her and she comes in and takes her shoes off before we walk upstairs to the bathroom.

Melissa hands me the test and waits outside the door while I take it.

Once I've done that, before checking it I let Melissa in and we read over what the results will come out as.

"One line means you're not pregnant and two lines means that you are." Melissa reads aloud.

"Well, here goes nothing." I state and pick up the test.

Two lines are showing.

I clamp my hand over my mouth and start to cry tears of joy.

Melissa looks at the test and joins me in the crying. She also lets out a few fangirl squeals at the same time.

Once we've calmed down, we head downstairs and try to think of ways to tell Aaron.

How will Aaron react to Aphmau being pregnant?

How will planning for Zane~Chan/ZaNa and RyNe/JYlan's weddings go?

And how will Vylad and Spring deal with their developing crushes on each other?

Thanks for reading this chapter and I'm sorry if it's short. I have a lot of homework as school just started again last week and I'm now in year 10 (Freshman in American terms) which means I'm starting my GCSEs but I'll still write on weekends and whenever I possibly can.
