"Grace?" Colby coughed out.
"Colby!" I kissed him and held him tight.
"What happened?"
"We got in a car crash with a drunk driver, but the cops are about 5 minutes away, okay? Hang in there."
"That is exactly why I don't drink." He cracked a smile, though he was struggling to do so.
Later the cops arrived, they had paramedics looking at Colby's wounds and applying rubbing alcohol to his for head and had him taking pain relievers, on the other hand cops had the driver in hand cuffs and tested for alcohol. Which came out positive, Sadly. Colby was drove to the hospital. I got home and I told the others what happened to Colby.
