Chapter 14

"Wow, for me?" Colby gasped.

I bit my lip and shook my head 'yes'

"Is it bad? We can go somewhere else. I can-" he cut me off.

"No, I want to stay, it's beautiful." He looked at me with his blue pools.

Now, let me explain the set up. There was a large hammock colored baby pink and baby blue gradient. A table In the center with candles in the middle that ware in rose shapes, wow I know. And a surprise gift that was being held onto by Brennen.

Colby took my hand and we first sat at the table. I wanted this to be real. So I actually booked Panda Express. After we ate we sat in the hammock which was pinned between trees that were carved with little hearts and stars in them. Along with our names. Left tree: Colby Right tree: Grace. We were gazing around through the leaves and at the sky.

"You know, Colby, I've been meaning to tell you this for awhile." He turned and wrapped him arms around me.

"And what is that?"

"I- I love you, Colby Robert Brock."

"I love you too, Grace Elizabeth Kathryn." I smiled into his chest and relaxed.

Colby was so, so real. He made me feel at ease. He wasn't a fake little player, he was this, amazing guy that you could only DREAM of being with. And as lucky as I was, I was with him. Wow one trip to Starbucks REALLY changed my life. I felt Colby's fingers intertwine with my hair and mess it up.

"Heyyyyy." I said as I pushed his hand away.

"If your gonna do that don't make my hair messyyyyyy." I whined and kissed him.

"Alright, princess." He laughed and sat up.

"Okay, now for your surprise!" I said excitedly as I pulled him off the hammock and blindfolded him once more.

"Again? You better not be doing some kinky shit." He laughed.

"Only if you want me too." I giggled back and skipped over to Sam and grabbed the box.

"Okay, open!" He took off the blindfold when the box bursted open.

"You got me a dog?!" He laughed as he picked it up out of the box.

"I don't really know what else you want from me." I shrugged and laughed.

He was a 2 week old chocolate Labrador retriever. I had a dog of my own, Nancy, she was a beagle, but she was grown, as I failed to mention her.

"Wow, oh my gosh." Colby laughed and pet him.

"So, name?" I said as I softly scratched behind his ear.

"Hmm. Only fair that he's chocolate. We can name you Cocoa." He giggled and rubbed noses with the tiny pup.

"So Colby." I say as I wipe the sweat from my forehead. Here it goes.

"What's up?" She says snaking his arm around my waist.

"Will you be my boyfriend? Cause I'm like, totally in love with you." I laughed awkwardly as I pulled the velvet box from my bag and opened it revealing two rings. No, I'm not proposing.

"Well of course." He laughed and hugged me.

I handed him the silver wolf ring that he slid onto his ring finger and I slid the smaller wolf ring onto mine.

"Now it's official." I whisper, kissing his cheek and twirling around him.
