Chapter 5

In the morning I woke up to Colby still asleep. I was resting my head on his chest and he was wrapped around me. I studied him for a moment and then shut my eyes when I noticed him waking up. I felt his fingers run thorough my hair, I was so comfortable. Then he put his hand on my face, "Wake up." He said softly. I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Sleep well?" He asked. "Yeah, very." He smiled. "Well I have to get dressed and ready for the bridge, do you wanna come? We're gonna be using an Ouija." I looked up. "Say no more."

I got out of bed a little to fast and I got dizzy. Colby thankfully held me up, I asked Deyvan to borrow something so she gave me some dark blue shorts and a black cropped tank. I put my hair up in a messy bun and put on some gold rim red aviator glasses. Colby stepped out of his room dressed in a black sweater w/ a leather hood, black pants, and some black ankle vans. "Um also you might want to bring a sweater, it's going to be cold at night." I nodded and put my Thrasher sweater around my waist.

We went downstairs with Amber "Ready to go?" Sam pointed to the door. Colby looked at me. "Yeah, lets go." We all headed out the door and into the car. It was 12:00 pm when we headed out so we had 12 more hours before we had to go to the bridge. Until then we just wandered around.

Around 11:45 we made our way to the bridge and Sam took out the Ouija board. They greeted the spirit, after awhile things got creepy, it said someone was going to die tonight. I looked around shivering. "Oh my gosh are you okay?" I hurried over to Sam.

"Dude your nose is bleeding!" I lifted his chin and checked his nose.

"Yeah I'm okay." Corey took his hand off.

After explaining that he couldn't do that they continued. When Sam put the board away it ended up back it and set up, So we just called it quits.

We decided to settle in for the night and I slept next to Colby. 30 minutes into slumber Corey's blanket was snatched off of him so we ran away. "Colby I'm scared, what if you get haunted, what if somebody dies, what if-" Colby interrupted

"Your okay." I looked him straight in the eye and he did the same. He had his hand lifting my chin.

I felt the adrenaline kick through me. It happened in bullet time, but he kissed me, first I was shocked and then I relaxed, I put my arms around his neck and made it last. "Yeah Colby get some!" Corey yelled from afar.

We broke the kiss and he picked me up bridal style and we ran to the car and drove home.

Admin: OH.MY.GOD. This was the CUTEST (and the scariest) CHAPTER. 🤗 Te ship has sailed!

Colby: That was scary.

Grace: You scared Colby? 😏

Colby:Wha-no! Just, Corey was.

Corey: Was not!

Colby: you could keep your hand on the board for 5 seconds 😂

Corey: Shut up 😳

Amber: And I wasn't invited?! Kill me off already!

Admin: Okay, and then Amber grabbed a chainsaw and-

Amber: NEVER MIND NO I WANT TO LIVE!

Admin: Whatever you say 😂
