My message to you is let the team be your family and don't leave people out. You don't know what people are going through and maybe the team and running is what's holding them together. Don't let your senior year be the last time you see the team. Come back for meets if you can. Trust me it means a lot.
Ever judge a book by its cover. Someone isn't always who you think they are. Maybe they are scared to be who they really are.
Have fun it's not all about winning. It's about the memories and the relationships. Don't ditch your team for someone else. If a teammate calls you crying on the phone, please don't just hang up they may really need you.
Be happy that you have something like this. A team that's like a family. Be true to who you are, because that will show you who your real friends are.
Listen to others. Don't always be the one talking, let others talk and don't shut them up. They may really need someone to talk too.
Don't be afraid to be different and crazy because if someone really your friends they will be okay with it.
Don't be afraid to make family outside your blood family. Maybe we're family by swear. I know personally that I have family that's closer to me that isn't blood than some family that is.
I know I'm an oddball, but thank you guys for always putting up with me and my craziness. I'm glad I got to know all of you on some level. I hope we make many more memories and the ones we have made I will remember all my life. Thank you for being my family when I needed family.
This is me. I'm a big ball of anxiety, imagination, dark humor, and just plain randomness all rolled up in a person. I don't love running, but I most definitely love the team. So thank you. Thank you guys for supporting me it means a lot. This isn't my best work, but I'm pretty proud of it. I hope you like it. I put a lot of thought and effort in this.

Cross Country
RandomThis is the Cross Country rule book. It's full of funny stories and rules that my team and I have made up. It should be full of laughs and maybe in a couple of years tears too.
