Chapter 3

*Emily's POV*

Grayson was sitting next to him. I walked up to him and held his hand. I got so happy when he opened his eyes. I tried to kiss him but he pushed himself back a little. I looked at him confused.

-"Leave me...I'm a monster..."

-"So am I..."

I said and leaned in again, he kissed me back this time.

-"Do you remember anything from last night?" Grayson said after we broke apart.

-"Just some flashes. I ran away but I felt a hit on the back of my neck and then I just... don't remember"

-"Not remembering is normal. It's the same for me but who hit you?" I asked.

-"I don't know. I didn't see. Even if I did I can't remember"

-"It's OK. We'll figure that out later. The only thing that matters is that you are awake now"

-"How did you guys find me anyway?" Ethan asked

-"I followed your scent. If that makes any sense" I said.

-"What's happening to us? Does this mean that we're..." Eli said but refused to continue.

-"It looks like it...you and I are... vampires and they're werewolves" Gray said confused.

-"But what are we supposed to do now? How are we going to live like this?" I said but no one replied. No one had anything to say. All we could do was to get out of that place and never come back...

* One month later*

*Grayson's POV*

It's been a month and we haven't been able to get some rest. Eli and I were in our room, just sitting around not paying attention to anything like I didn't even realize the sun coming out.

Well, until I felt a terrible pain on my hand and jumped.

-"COME ON SUN!" Eli kinda yelled.

-"After all this time we still didn't get used to this?"

-"FFfffffffuuuu" she said between her teeth.

This is how we've been living. Vampires don't like the sun, and that's been keeping us indoors during the days all this time. We can never get used to this.

Both of us got out of our room and go downstairs. Ethan and Emily were already awake.

-"Hey you two... Could you get some rest last night?" Gray asked.

-"No" Ethan answered quickly.

-"Well, Nether did we" Eli said.

-"What happened to your arm?" Gray asked"

-"Sun...."

-"Oh... Right... I keep forgetting"

Halfway through the breakfast, we heard a knock on the door. We all looked up shocked. We haven't seen anyone coming to our house since...the incident.

I slowly opened the door and some stranger invited himself in.

-" Hi. My name is Tyler. You guys don't know me but I know you since that night" the guy immediately said.

-"How do you know about that night? We were alone" Elizabeth snapped. Ethan and Emily joined us too.

-"Wait...stand back. He has a familiar...scent" Ethan said.

-"What do you mean?" I said stepping back and keeping Eli behind me.

-"I feel it too. I think...he's one of those guys who did this to us"
