Always and Forever (The Dolan Twins)

Chapter 5

*Emily's POV*

I was so nervous. I tried to get some rest but the nightmares startled me all night. None of us could sleep that night. The sun was up before I could get any sleep.

Tyler came to the room and only said one thing

-"It's time"

We got out of the bed and got ready. But I was scared that what if we can never be ready for what's waiting for us. I couldn't control my thoughts.

We stopped at a huge house. It looked like a damn castle. Lots of vamps and wolves were guarding it.

We were waiting for about five minutes until Tyler gave us the word. We stroke fast and aimless. All we know was to kill before getting killed.

They also had human in their gang. That must've been a dirty deal that they accepted to fight alongside creatures.

They had weapons but not normal bullets. It made sense cuz they're not fighting normal people. If we get hit, it will take days to recover. And we didn't have time for that.

When we were done with the guards we went in the house. It was so quiet. Quieter than it should've been. We were ready for anything cuz what were all those guards protecting? An empty house?

We moved up the stairs and we saw a door different from others. It was made of iron with lots of drawings on it.

I put my hand on the doorknob as I heard Tyler's voice, telling me to stop but it was too late. The door was rigged. The four of us got thrown back as the smoke got all over the place. I struggled to stand up as my ears were still ringing. I couldn't see anything at first but when the smoke was gone and my vision was clear, I saw a lady standing in front of the door.

She jumped and attacked me. She was a werewolf, just like me but her eyes were blue. I don't know what happened I just jumped to the left and got up so fast.

Didn't take long that others joined me.

She was strong. At first, she fought back but she was on her own. We pinned her down and I finished her.

I stood up feeling like the man. I dropped her heart and we all went back to the safe house. Tyler brought others to search the place so our job was done there.

We were all so happy. We thought the danger was done. We thought we were safe. We thought we won.

We all got around to celebrate our victory but Tyler didn't join us.

-"We won. Why don't you celebrate? What's wrong?" I tapped on his shoulder.

-"what? Nothing...it's nothing"

-"You're a bad liar"

-"It's nothing. I just.... don't want to ruin your happiness"

-"I'm sorry bro but you just did. Just spit it out"

-"You guys don't know what you have done."

-"As long as I remember we did nothing wrong...."

-"Emily.... that lady that you killed back there was their leader's wife. He knows that it was you and by now he knows who you love" He pointed at El, Gray, and Ethan.

-"How can he know that it was me? How is that even possible?"

-"He's a hybrid, and his power is beyond your imagination. He can find you with the smell that you left on her. And just like that, he sees everyone that you love"

-"No no no no this can't be happening" I think I alerted everyone. Ethan held my shoulder and I hugged him, crying so hard.

-"What's going on? What the hell did you tell her?" Ethan yelled.
