Last Chapter

*Grayson's POV*

We opened the door and suddenly saw Emily sitting on Ethan's bed. Ethan got so happy and ran to her for a hug but he stopped when she looked back at him.

Her eyes were black. She wasn't herself. She got up and attacked him instead. Eli and I ran to her and pinned her down.

-"Emily look at me... It's me...Ethan" Ethan sat next to her

-"Emily is long gone." Her voice was double. Her tone... was so evil and soulless.

-"Why did you came here?" I asked.

-"I have a message from Mark."

-"What message?"

-"He wanted you to know that Emily is never going to come back and you guys should stop looking for her or it won't end well."

Then she quickly got out of our grip and ran away. I hoped that on her way out she will be stopped by someone but...

-"She ran away" Elizabeth said after checking around

-"Not quite" Ethan said. 

-"What do you mean?"

-"I got her scent. I know where she is going. Follow me."

We followed him to the same house we went last time. But this time lots of werewolves and vampires were guarding it. We attacked with no plan and started killing everyone that got in our way. We won't lose her this time.

I don't know how long it took but we killed them all and got in. We walked upstairs in a line quietly and looking through every door to look for Emily. We almost lost hope. Even though her scent was everywhere, she was nowhere to be found. When we least expected it, Mark showed up out of nowhere and attacked me from behind.

-"Look Out!" I heard Ethan say but he broke my neck before I could react...

When I opened my eyes I was chained to a wall and everyone was around me.

-"What did I miss?" I asked.

-"Don't worry you didn't miss a thing" Ethan answered

-"What happened?"

-"He broke your neck and forced us into this cell"

-"Where is Emily?"

-"She is right here" Mark walked in with Emily next to him.

-"You son of a BITCH! Let her go" Ethan snapped

-"And where's the fun in that?"

-"Please just...let her go, and you won't see our faces ever again"

-"I would say OK before but she is so strong, I'm keeping her...but I will let you talk to her for the last time because I'm a nice guy"

He left the room and Emily's eyes were back to brown again. She started crying immediately. Without saying anything, she just ran to Ethan and kissed him. Looks like she's aware of everything. She just couldn't control it

-"I knew I would find you" Ethan said

-"I thought I lost you forever but I guess it was just another one of his lies"

-"What lies?" she dropped her head and started telling us what happened.

*Flashback*
*Emily's POV*

When I opened my eyes I was in my own bed in my room. Was that all a bad dream? I got up and saw Ethan next to me. My hand was in his. If that was a nightmare I'm just glad that it's over now. I just put my head on Ethan's chest and closed my eyes in relief. But then I heard a loud noise. I jumped up in fear. It sounded like gunshots.
