chapter 3: News

Sophia POV

I walk out of the bathroom, toward lunch. I see Amber and Beth up ahead.

"Hey guys" I yell.

"Hi" they both say in union.

We walk in the lunch room together.
I see Chad talking with the football team. As I sit down I start talking with the others kids at my table.

"Hey babe" Chad said, while walking toward our table.

"Hey Chad" I say. We all talk more, until we see Amber stand.

"Guys?" Amber says. We all look up at her. "I have some news".

"What is it?" asked Beth.

"Well I was wondering if you guys would come to my birthday party?" Amber asked, while handing each of us an invitation.

We all nodded in agreement.

"Great, the party is at my house." Said Amber.

"Oh, Amber I forgot I'm not going to be able to make it." I say

"Why not?" She asked

"I'm busy" I say "but I will give you my gifts at school"

"Ok" she said a little disappointed. I look over and see that Chad is staring at Beth for some reason, but I don't really care to much.
I tell the guys that I need to go.
I walk towards the bathroom to change.

Monique POV

I walk out of the bathroom, towards the Cafeteria.
The doors are closed.
I bust the doors open, all eyes snap towards me. I smirk to myself.

As I am walking in it is silent, then Vicky and Jay walk beside me glaring hard at everyone.

We walk over to the 'populars' table and I stop near Amber.
She looks so scared, I stoop down so I am near her ear.

"I'm so excited, for your party Amber. I'm sure we will have a blast." I whisper. She nods.

I stand and see Vicky playing in Chads hair. She then sits in his lap and starts kissing him, but he doesn't kiss her back.

He makes eye contact with me and I glare at him telling him to kiss her back, he does.

Vick is finished with him so she slaps him, and gets off his lap.

The cafeteria is still quiet and staring at us mostly giving Chad disgusted looks. I smirk.

"WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT!?!?" I yell. They all turn around and finish there conversations.

"Aw Chad what will your girlfriend say for kissing another girl?" I say.

"Please don't tell her I'll do anything." He cried.

"Anything?" I smirk.

"Anything"

"Fine I won't" I say.
"HEY EVERYONE LISTEN UP!" They all turn their heads to look at me. "Anyone who mentions Chad and Vick kissing will have to deal with me. You got that?" They all nod.

"Good" and with that I leave, and walk in the bathroom to change back again.

Sophia's POV

I walk back into the cafeteria and notice everyone is staring at me.

I walk over towards my table.
"Why is everyone staring at me with pity eyes?" I ask

Chad looks down but says nothing.

"Beth?" I ask

She says nothing.

"Amber?" I ask

She says nothing.

I ask everyone else at our table but they all say nothing.

"Babe?" I ask finally

He also says nothing.

I wonder why?
