chapter 4: Party Time

Monique's POV

I am driving my car home, to get ready for the party.

I step out my car and walk to my room, and change for the party.

I wear a black dress that stops mid thigh. And a leather jacket.

I put on my make-up. Black eye shadow, nothing special.

And red lipstick. I'm now walking downstairs to get into my car.

30 Min's later

I arrive at the huge house. Where I see cups all on the lawn. I walk in and see people dancing with each other.

I show a blank face. Then I see Amber, I walk over to her.

"Amber"I say. She turns around and gives me a nervous smile.

"Oh, Monique I'm glad you could make it" she says.

"Good" I smirk.

I walk away, bored of the conversation. I then get an idea and went to go to the bathroom to go change.

Sophia's POV

I change into a beautiful red dress.

I then walk out of the bathroom towards the party.

I then spotted Amber.

"Hi Amber!" I yell over the loud music. "Happy Birthday"

"Thanks" she yelled back.
"Beth and Chad are here somewhere"

"Ok I'll go find them" I say. So I walk around to find them.

What I saw next was the worst thing in the world.

Chad and Beth are kissing each other.

"Ch-ch-chad?" I cry.

They stop and look at me with guilt in their eyes.

"Oh um Sophia its not what it looks like" said Chad.

I say nothing, I just run out of the party with tear rolling down my face.

I go home and cry for 3 days straight. I missed school, but I don't care.

Then it just hit me. Why why am I crying?
