Elise
Staying with Dahlia had become routine. Well until her mother came home. Then their cuddles and giggles where always behind closed doors. Elise would usually come to Dahlia's penthouse at night to stay with her, because of how Dahlia's mother acted towards her.
She wondered why the old woman was like that, Elise knew she hadn't done anything wrong in fact Dahlia would tell Elise she saved them. Elise didn't believe that. How could she if the elder woman always acted coldly towards her? What had she done to deserve it?
Elise entered the penthouse, shutting the door carefully. Locking it slowly to not wake up the woman in the house. Until she was greeted by Dahlia's mom. Whom was sitting at the island in the kitchen with the light on.
"Do you always sneak in?" The shaky voice of the white haired woman spoke. Elise looked down but then back up to meet the woman's brown eyes. "I try to be quiet Ms. Ivey" Elise admitted. Earning a chuckle from the other woman. "Call me Megan, Ms Ivey makes me sound older than I am... please come sit" She smiled. Elise was confused. Very confused. Usually all she got from her was dirty looks and an occasional bird.
"I don't hate you" Megan admitted "I just want to make sure you're good for my daughter. Since the last person she was with. Wasn't very good". Elise nodded, it was understandable, Dahlia had always been the person to put somebody else before herself even if it meant in her case abuse.
"I understand, but you can see Dahlia is happy. There are no more bruises upon her skin" Elise spoke quietly hoping Dahlia was still waiting in the room for her. Megan nodded "We will see now go see her"
Elise shot of like a rocket, it was like her feet never touched the floor as she raced up the stair. Traveling down the hallway to the first door, opening it slowly catching her breath. Before entering the dark room, as soon as she shut the door, she felt a body pressing her against the door and a pair of lips upon her own in which her lips formed to as if they excepted Dahlia's. "I missed you" Dahlia purred lowly catching her breath
"Mmmm you seem happy" Elise smiled even in the dark their eyes managed to connect. "Of course I'm always happy to see my sunshine even if I can't really see you" Dahlia giggled happily. "I got something for you" she added flipping on a switch causing the room to light up with Christmas lights.
"It's Christmas in July" Elise giggled wrapping her arms around Dahlia's neck. "You're like Christmas on July" Dahlia laughed quietly. She led Elise to the bed and sat down. Elise found her spot in Dahlia's lap straddling her legs around Dahlia's waist.
"You're really pretty" Elise cooed lovingly. Her eyes watched Dahlia's. The eyes that called for everyone's attention. "You're amazingly perfect" Dahlia smiled, her hands placed on Elise's hips. "You're beautiful and breath taking so ha I win" Elise said tilting her head up proudly.
"Mmm Ms. McCraw we both know I don't lose"
"We shall wrestle to the death"
"Elise Nova McCraw you are like a little puppy, I'm afraid I cannot do that ma'am"
Elise gasped sarcastically before sticking her tongue out at the older girl "Dahlia Lynn Addison you're like a corgi so play me better" She crossed her arms but started to giggle. "A corgi is pretty tough" Dahlia tried to point out but there was no stopping this one. Elise managed to pin Dahlia, her hands on Dahlia's wrist. Dahlia was however much stronger than Elise, flipping the two over. Dahlia hovered over Elise with a smirk written on her lips. "Not so fast my love" Dahlia said proudly.
"Not so soon darling"
"What-"
Elise started to tickled Dahlia, whom started to laugh. Giving Elise the chance to claim top again she tickled Dahlia more "Say I win and I'll let you go" Elise laughed as she continued to tickle Dahlia whom shook her head "You winnnn" Dahlia said holding out the n do to her laughs getting in the way. Elise stopped and kissed Dahlia on the cheek, "I thought you'd see it my way" Elise smiled resting her head on Dahlia's chest. Dahlia pulled a blanket over them and wrapped her arms around Elise protectively. They both fell asleep rather quickly due to it being 2am

Elise was the first to wake up, her brown eyes opened looking at the suns rays shining into the room. Yawning she tried shaking Dahlia awake. Frowning when Dahlia didn't move a centimeter. "Lia" Elise cooed into Dahlia's ear, receiving a groan from Dahlia.
Elise raised her eyebrow "oh really?" She muttered to herself. She slipped out of Dahlia's protective hold traveling to the end of the bed proceeding to pull Dahlia out of bed, but she had other plans. Gripping the frame of the bed Dahlia stayed in place.
"Dahlia Lynn get up" Elise said loudly trying to wake her up. Only it wasn't going as well as she thought. Dahlia didn't even flinch but Elise wasn't going to give up this easily. Elise skipped to the bathroom getting out a spray bottle. Filling it with water she returned to Dahlia. "Dahlia you've given me no choice" Elise warned starting to spray Dahlia. As soon as the water touched Dahlia's skin she shot up. "Elise.Nova.McCraw" Dahlia said stopping at each word giving a pause. Elise heard her middle name and was already in the bathroom trying to lock the door.
"Elise come out darling"
"Who's Elise?"
"Elise. Payback darling"
"No habla inglés"
Dahlia laughed at the younger girl but stayed outside the door. "Okay you win.... I'll just be in the kitchen" Dahlia called outside the door making some footsteps in hopes Elise would believe that.
"I see your feet still by the door!"
Elise was on her hands and knees looking through the bottom crack of the door. Dahlia did the same "Elise just open the door honey" Dahlia smiled. "I think not" Elise called moving away from the door. She looked under the bathroom sink for the super soaker she had hid just in case she woke the beast up before 12.
Filling it up she unlocked the door and scrambled to the toilet sitting on the lid. As she watched the door handle slowly open. "HOLD IT RIGHT THERE PARTNER" Elise commanded aiming the water gun at Dahlia who started to laughed lifting one hand in the air . The other behind her back
"Alright Elise let us just calm down" Dahlia said with a smirk. "Stop smirking" Elise demanded knowing what was in the hand behind Dahlia's back. Dahlia made the first shot spraying water at Elise. Within an instant water was coming from both sides of the bathroom. Elise screeched as she tried to hide behind the shower curtain but was greeted with a smirking Dahlia.
Both girls ended up soaked and sitting in the bathtub, giggling uncontrollably. Dahlia held onto Elise playing with her dirty blonde hair. "Elise?" She asked quietly. Elise looked back at Dahlia "Dahlia" she smiled.
"I want to take you on a real date"
"Are you asking me to a real date?"
"Yes"
"Of course dummy. I'd go anywhere with you"
