Allison walks through the cafeteria and dashes for her friends as she sees them in the incredibly long line. Macy, Allison’s best friends, that sported curly brown hair, light brown eyes and one of the most gorgeous smiles had not been in the previous class and she took the time to catch her on her luck. “I cant believe he place you with him, doesn’t Mr. Darcy know how much you despise his guts.” Allison rolls her eyes in agreement.
“Ugh, I don’t know what I’m going to do Mace, I literally cannot with that douche-bag, its physically impossible.” Macy laughs at her friend’s drama. She can understand why Ally doesn’t want to work with Ethan, her on the other hands his a whole different story. Ethan is gorgeous, dark brown hair, deep green eyes, muscular and at least 6’2’. Gosh he is beautiful. Yes she would die if she would ever had the chance to be with him alone, in the same room, but the truth is, he is an ass, no matter how one puts it.
On the other side of the cafeteria, Ethan did the same, explaining to his friends. Gosh does he hates that ‘Allison’. His best friend Matthew starts to laugh, “I say you two hate each other s much its love.” He jokes. Ethan looks at him deadly, clearly not amused by the joke.
“There are some things that just cant be played around with, that’s one of them,” he warns with a smug laugh. “I could never like a beast like her” everyone laughs at the table, pointing their views towards Allison and she suddenly feels conscious. Ethan looks at her devilishly, and waves. Allison rolls her eyes as she grabs a tray of food and walk to her table with Macy. Her friends sat waiting. “So, I heard through the grapevine that you have to work with McKnight” Ryan state.
“You heard right” Allison confirms “lucky me” she says sarcastically.
“Well this should be interesting” Macy mumbles under her breath.

Allison opens the door to her locker, placing her books inside. She debated with herself whether if she should go to her internship today. Today, she did not feel in the mood to drive. Ever since Mr. Darcy informed her she and Ethan would be working together this morning, she felt like throwing up, they had a month to complete the project, but she knows that’s not going to be. Too many AP classes. The best thing to do I to finish as best as possible. The less time she spends around the douche-bag the better. As she closes the door, she finds Ethan standing in front of her. “Oh joy, what do you want?” rather than responding Ethan raises both of his eyebrows, taunting her. She rolls her eyes at the back of her head, gosh is that boy a nuisance. “What do you want McKnight?”
“Ok, the project, I wanted to talk to you about it.” he states waiting for Ally to answer. Well she’s not going to internship today, which means that she has a free period.
“What do you have this period” she asks him in a stern manner.
“Internship, why?” he says with a smile “Best excuse for ditching school”
“Do you think you can ditch it today?”
“Uh, yeah, I guess. I have all my hours for this week. They won’t care.”
“Then come with me” she instructs as she walks out the door. Placing her internship ID in front of her chest so, she will not be mistaken for skipping “Lets go to the main library. They should have plenty of research on the Scarlet Letter” Ethan laughs at her seriousness. “we’ll take my car just because I don’t trust you and your driving” Ethan in turns is amused b her talking. Gosh, she is such a controlling freak.
“You’re not going to take me somewhere to rape me are you” he asks, knowing that he was the top of the crème de la crème at his school. Allison looks back at him, inspects him from head to toe and gags.
“You wish” she sates as he turns, and lets herself in the car.
