Kath’s POV

I am now on my way to La Union to visit my husband… sweaty hands, uneasy feeling. I don’t know why… siguro, I’m just not used to being away with him, gusto ko lagi kong syang katabi…

“Ma’am, nandito na ho tayo” my driver

I got down my car and everyone greeted me… nasaan na kaya ang asawa ko?

“Mrs. Padilla?!”

“Mr. Consunji” He came up to me for a beso…

“I thought you’re not coming”

“yeah, I’m sorry I’m not able to come yesterday, nag kaemergency kasi I have to attend the wedding…”

“oo nga eh, sayang… but Dj and Julia were great yesterday! I like the shots…”

“talaga?” I don’t know if that’s positive or negative, seriously “anyway, sir, did you see my husband?”

“hmm yeah, I think I saw him with Julia earlier nag si-swimming but probably they’re having lunch na…”

nag si-swimming?!!! “oh, okay. would you mind if I go and check on my husband first?”

“no, I don’t… I’m sure he misses you so much, you guys enjoy the rest of the day at the beach, okay?!”

I smiled “thank you”

And I walked to the restaurant by the beach… slowly… nervously…

I entered the restaurant and saw my husband and Julia sharing laughs together…

Julia, wearing micro shorts and a bandeau bikini top… ugh! You’re not at the office, but you’re still at work, dress up!

I took a deep breath… Walking slowly… observing them…

Dj gave her the camera and she tries to capture a photo of him, Dj seems to refuse but Julia pleased him… I am just a few tables away from them but it seems like he doesn’t feel my presence… why? Dati, kahit sinu-surprise ko sya basta malapit na ko sa kanya, nararamdaman nya… pero ngayon, bakit parang hindi?

“Daniel” I called him
