It was 6 in the morning when our alarm clock rang. I slowly opened my eyes, kissed my husband’s nose and slowly removed his hands on my waist… I prepared his clothes for work before waking him up…
“wakey! Wakey!” I kissed his ears “good morning, sweetie… time to wake up!”
Dj stretches his arms and hugged me “good morning my Kathryn”
Oh I won’t trade mornings like this for silver or gold...
Dj got up and prepared his self for work habang ako pinapanood ko lang syang nag aayos…
“hun, aren’t you going to work?” he asked
“uhh I am! May aasikasuhin lang ako this morning”
“aasikasuhin? What is it?”
“uhhh, renewal ng business permit! Yeah” I lied
“ah, okay. so you’ll bring your car?”
“yup!”
“or do you want me to come with you?”
“no! I mean, I’m good, hun… I’ll drive na lang and besides, it’s Monday, busy day for work!”
“yeah… so, I’ll see you tonight?” he cupped my face
“I’ll see you at lunch!”
“oh, we’ll have lunch together?”
“yes, wait for me hah?”
“okay, I will…”
“oh halika na babe, male-late ka na…”
We walked hand in hand to his car…
I will go to work, may mission lang ako this morning kaya mag ha-half day ako…
And what is that mission?!
