It has been 12 hours and 24 minutes since Sean Lew kissed me. Not that I'm counting or anything. But I am.

Of course I have been doing everything in my power to not run into him or even be seen by him. So far it's been really easy. Partly, because I have no classes with him but also because there is a immabeast meeting being held in the cafeteria. It happened to work out like this because many of the dancers attend my school. Unfortunately the second half of the workshop requires new recruits to attend-- and the likely hood of Sean and I running into each other are high. Aside from him, my nerves are high. Thankfully, Gabe is also a new recruit so it's nice to have someone to go through it with.

I'm turning the corner on my way back from the bathroom when I collide into Josh Price.

"Bailey!" He exclaims, once we've both recovered from the blow. He is awfully cheesy, causing my suspicion to rise. "Josh" I respond accordingly.

"Funny how I ran into you-- actually. Sean was just on his way to your Lit class to ask you to come down to the gym."

"Oh, are they having the recruits come in early?" I ask shocked, I'm not prepared to see him.

"Yup."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah Bailey, I'm sure-- your name was on the list."

"Are you? Because there's another Bailey"

"You're the only Bailey Sok" he deadpans. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to say to Sean, it's too soon.

"And they need us to come right now?" I drag, my mind racing. Josh is smirking, as if he knows why I'm anxious. Oh my God! What if Sean told him about the kiss.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me. Suddenly it felt like Josh could read my mind. That was all I needed to snap out of it. He's just a guy Bailey! A very very very pretty and talented and sex-- pull it together Bailey.

"I'll go grab my bag and meet you there" I announce, waving bye before running to class. Unfortunately, Sean decided to wait for me in front of my class. His eyes lighting up once he sees me approach.  "Bailey!" He exclaims, pushing himself off the wall. I curse my luck as I force myself to give him a smile.

"I ran into Josh, he told me I should head to the gym" I say, avoiding eye contact. The poster beside him read, 'Hugs not Drugs'. It's like schools try to be cringy.

"Yeah, grab your things-- we'll walk together" he states, stuffing his hands into his jean pockets. I internally groaned, wanting nothing but to be away from him. My judgments is very clouded when he's in close proximity. And I need to trust my judgment right now!

"Actually, why don't you go on ahead?" I start, "I promised Gabe I'd grab his luckycharm sweatshirt from Tati's car." It's a complete lie but desperate moments call for desperate decisions. It doesn't look like he bought it, sooner or later he'll realize I'm avoiding him. Suddenly, my phone started to viberate in my pocket. My prayers have been answered! I glance at the screen, surprised to see Gabe calling.

"Gabe! I was just going to go get your luckycharm sweater!" I exclaim pressing the phone to my ear. I'm hoping Sean would take that as his queue. Thankfully, he gave me a slight wave before walking away.

"Umm... lucky charm sweater?" Gabe asks, confusion apparent in his voice. I quickly explain the situation to him, smiling at how silly the whole situation seemed.

"Very creative" he taunts, amused by the story as well.

"I was desperate! Let's never bring this up!" I whine.
