Back In Time

Chapter 1

  Sam dragged his feet from the school back home after a long day there. However, he wasn't optimistic about going home. Sam sighed heavily as he slouched his back.
   He reluctantly pushed himself towards the door to let himself in.
    "Bam!" Sam found himself on the floor. "Ouch! Mum, Sam is bullying me!!! "Sam's younger brother, Sean whined. Less than a second, Sam could hear footsteps approaching.
   "Sam, why did you do that to your innocent brother!" Mother reprimanded Sam, as she rubbed Sean's foot. Sam was in a state of confusion as he scratched his head.
   "I didn't do anything!" Sam claimed.
   "How dare you to lie to me!" Mother cried while pulling out her cane. She stomped towards Sam and hit him with all her might.
    She then put down the cane and carried Sean into the room to apply medication for him.Sean was facing him, he stuck his tongue and smirked to tease him. Sam groaned in pain softly, he was afraid that Mother would hear him.
     Later that afternoon, he sat in the balcony staring at the mother bird and baby bird on the tree nearby, the mother bird had given the baby bird a very warm and motherly hug.
     Sam mummered to himself, "hmm... Oh, how I wish my mother loved me as much as that bird's mother. How I wish I could go back in time when mum loved me a lot and dad was still alive to protect me."Sam was too tired, so he went to bed.
     He blinked continuously as he woke up. He turned around to look around his surroundings. His eyes widened as he found himself in a cot...
