The Mansion | Overstepping It
"Fallin' from cloud nine."
- Katy PerryJune was now over and it was the first day of July. Everything was rolling in full effect and it seems like nobody had nothing to worry about. All the teens were having the time of their lives and there was no negative vibe in the atmosphere. They were all excited for the Janya's birthday that was coming up in about two days, she was finally turning seventeen and the excitement was in the air. She was finally becoming into a young lady, and she has so much to learn and so many things to experience before she finally reaches adulthood.
For starters, she has to accept the fact that her future isn't going to be a walk in the park. Janya hasn't went to school at all, and she hasn't has gotten the chance to learn like the rest of the "normal" kids. She is on a very low reading level and her father has to accept that she may not be able to get into into any universities. Her father has been trying so hard to work on her speech, reading, math, and filling her head full of basic knowledge. But with being a single parent and working is pretty difficult.
William wasn't always single of course. He had met a woman, fell in love with her, married her, had two wonderful kids, and then filed a divorce to end what they started. It seemed like he couldn't hold onto reality because next thing you know he's in court filing a divorce against the love of his life. William had his life planned out, but it had crumbled right before his eyes. Working hard and being a single parent isn't a slice of cake, he would like some help but he wouldn't want anybody but the mother of his children.
Her name is Candice Sands, and she was his kryptonite and he isn't ashamed to admit it. She was so beautiful and he admired her so much. It was such a tragedy how everything went south. She was a housewife and he was the working father who came home in the evening to his family waiting for him. Those were the good times, but their relationship got pretty bumpy when he started working even harder and started spending less time with his family. Candice didn't like that whatsoever and it got to the point where she didn't want that anymore.
When the split happened it affected Janya the most. She threw tantrums, she would cry, and get really angry to the point that she would panic and hyperventilate. Janya loved her family, and she adored her so parents dearly. Why would they ever want to split up? Why couldn't they stay together for the sake of their children? It didn't make sense for Janya, she was young and she was quite clueless of what was going on between her parents at the time. She was a special child and everything didn't click immediately to her, and it tore her apart when it finally came down to her.
Janya couldn't stand the fact knowing her parents were split so she moved in with her grandpa in a way of calming her overwhelmed spirit. While she was staying with her grandfather, Keith was living in the city with his mother who had turned to drugs after the split. They haven't seen each other in years, and now that Keith is visiting the mansion for the summer it gives them a chance to bond. After their grandfather died she almost felt hopeless because it seems like her life was falling apart, but she chose to stay with her father now.
"What are thoooossseee?" Keith yells pointing at Jason's shoes while making the obnoxious sound.
"Oh shit, someone finna get flamed," JoJoe chuckles crunching on his Taki's.
"Their chanclas!" Jason exclaims crossing his arms. "Did you guys forget that I'm Mexican?"
"Tip-toeing in my chanclas headass," Keith teases, mimicking the song 'Tip-toeing in my Jordans' vine.
"Your toes are cute," Zayn coos.
"Shut up," Jason kissed his teeth and crosses his arms over each other. "Y'all annoying as hell."
