Ban and Lily were having yet again another argument. The fighting continues until Meliodas, who was watching with interest, commented "Ya know, you two would make a good couple." Then before anything could be stated Ban spat out "Me!? With her!? Never!" This offended Lily on a very deep level since she indeed liked the fox sin. So she angrily retorted "WHY? DO YOU THINK I'M UGLY!?" He screamed back "THAT'S NOT WHY DAMN IT!!" Lily was infuriated "SO YOU THINK I'M FAT?!" "I DIDN'T SAY THAT AT ALL!!" "THEN WHY WOULDN'T YOU GO OUT WITH ME!? TO BOYISH!?" At this point Ban was at his snapping point "MAYBE IT'S CAUSE OF YOUR DAMN ATTITUDE! YOU'RE CLINGY AND WANT EVERYONE'S ATTENTION!!" Lily's bangs shadowed over her eyes as a lone tear made its way down her face. She brushed past Ban as she ran out the door and into the forest. Ban had always things like this when they were arguing, but this was the last straw and she couldn't take it anymore. The red head bounded into the forest and climbed a very old looking tree and sat on one of its branches. She brought her knees up to her chest and rested her grief stricken face on her knee caps as she silently cried. Meanwhile at the tavern everyone was struck by Bans words. Including himself. He was still in love with the greens eyes that had smiled so brightly when she was reading or talking and laughing with Diane. The giantess was currently yelling at Ban, but before she could finish he was out the door chasing her into the forest and trying to find the love of his life.

Ban had been searching for at least 5 hours now and he finally heard someone singing. Lily was still on the branch after what seemed like hours. One leg was dangling of the branch and her head was leaning on the trunk of the tree with her eyes shut. She was singing and didn't hear anyone approach the tree, so she started another song.

Ban took a shaky breath and continued.

Sometimes the system goes on the blink, and the whole thing it turns out

He turned to look up at her and said "Look. I'm really sorry and I didn't mean it at all... I um actually really like you... so.." Lily was silent for the most part and jumped down and hugged him tightly and whispered "Shut up idiot. I love you too." The tears had stopped flowing and Ban was stunned. Then his face lit up as he grabbed Lily by the waist and started swinging her around yelling "SHE LIKES ME!!!!!" Lily started laughing and they kissed each other as Ban carried her back to the tavern.
