Jailed My Heart (A Wardenler Fanfic)

The Deed is Done

Onceler had sped as fast as possible. It wouldn't be long before Jailbot would have to speed over him and catch him, although if he could get to Thneedville he would be home free.

He had kept going as fast as possible with a hand gun in the back along with a couple of twenty dollar bills. It was the first time he had actually stolen something but noting at this point mattered to him. In his mind Warden owed him this.

He kept driving fast until he could hear the sound of Jailbot being forced to bring him back. He turned quickly trying to loose him but it was no use. Jailbot held the car stopping it as he looked at it with a sad expression across his screen. He didn't want to do this to Onceler but he had no choice, as he broke the car window and grabbed Onceler.

Onceler tried to let go kicking around. "Stop! You have no right to bring me back to that horrid place! I don't belong there I need to get back home!!" But nothing he yelled got Jailbot to stop. He then realized he would need to face Warden but he wasn't afraid this time.

Warden stood in his desk as his cheeks where stained with tears. He had a cold expressionless face on as all you heard was the sound of a distant clock on his wall.

He looked down at his plans for expanding Superjail, and he now knew Oncelers opinion did not appeal to him anymore.

Jailbot had entered the room dropping Onceler in front of Wardens office. He looked up on his hands and knees and stood up. Maybe he could play this through.

He went to speak. "Baby?"

"You will address me as Warden-"

Onceler looked at him for a moment. He wanted to speak.

Warden stood up from his desk and looked at him depressed. "Do you find it easy to be so greedy?"

Onceler looked at him and took out his file annoyed. "Then explain this Warden!" He slammed his file on Wardens desk looking at him. "Why does it have your damn name signed at the bottom of keeping me here!?"

Warden looked down at the paper and looked back at him. "Do you have any idea what prison is like you selfish dirtbag?"

Onceler looked at him yet annoyed again. "It would have been better than here! People die every five seconds and you act like it's totally normal!"

Warden looked at him and straightened his glasses. "Onceler I lived in a prison, and it was the worst years of my life. I requested you here so I could treat you better than they would there" His eyes started to water again trying not to cry. "But you threw away the only emotion I developed over so many ways and you denied my affection like it was garbage!" He started crying looking at Onceler.

Onceler looked at him and felt somewhat, a bit of pity, but that didn't stop him from his anger as his eyes watered slightly as well. "Because no one fears you you are so easily tricked!"

This time Warden lost it. He swept everything off his desk and yelled. "YOU PLAYED ME LIKE A GOD DAMN TOY! YOU MADE MY WHOLE LIFE GO TO HELL!"

Onceler flinched. Never had he seen him this angry before. "Maybe you should grow a pair and get people to fear you like the pathetic man you are!"

Warden slapped him hard. So hard it echoed throughout his office making Onceler fall back slightly. He held his hand on his cheek as Warden yelled again. "YOU DO NOT TALK YOU YOUR WARDEN LIKE THAT!" He grabbed Oncelers wrist and looked at him. "You wanna know why!? Because I OWN YOUR SORRY ASS YOU CHEAPSKATE! IT SAYS RIGHT ON THOSE PAPERS IN MY HAND WRITING!" He shoved Onceler on the ground, making him fall as he stepped on Oncelers hand. "I swear to god, if you talk back to me I will become your worst nightmare, and I will make your life a living hell, then you'll see how much you fear me-" he let go of his hand and stepped facing his back to him and pushed the button on his desk. "Jailbot put Mr Onceler under full custody arrest-"

Jailbot looked at Warden sad as he held Oncelers wrists keeping him back before he yelled.

"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU YOU DAMN MANCHILD I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!!"

Warden looked down with a crushed face full of tears before Jailbot had covered Oncelers mouth taking him downstairs.

He couldn't believe he hit him. He wanted to take it back but hearing what Onceler told him ringed in his mind as more tears fell down his face.

"I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!!"

Warden turned to his contract that stated in dotted lines "to expand Superjail"

He took the pen with shaking hands. He wanted to sign it but didn't. What he did now would have unexpected consequences, and forces he had no clue of controlling. He slowly signed his name at the dotted lined paper and threw the pen in disgust across the room before he retired to his own.
