Routines after routines went on of Warden consistently seeking more bloodshed from such desires he didn't even know he was toying with.

Days went by faster than expected and the growth of Superjail was almost over whelming.

Onceler stood on the balcony, looking down at soldiers moving in a very strict motion. He held his chin looking down at what he knew wasn't right. This wasn't right. He looked up and saw Wardens office window, and Warden standing out in front of it. He needed to talk to him as he made his way towards his office.

Warden looked down at his army, but had rather a face of depression on. He didn't want this life, knowing he would be assassinated one day and never get to say goodbye to anyone. He heard his office door open and turned around alert with his hand on his handgun, but was relieved it was just Onceler. "Warden I think we need to talk about some things." Warden moved his hand away from his belt and nodded looking at the window again. "A-Alright."

Onceler held his shoulders softly looking at him. "I know you don't want this, I can tell."

Warden looked down still and didn't make eye contact with him. "There's nothing I can do about it now-"

Suddenly out of no context the walls started shaking, as if an earthquake had happened but the look of horror on Wardens face made him realize what was actually happening. "Onceler they got through the gate they're inside the building-"

Onceler looked at him and grabbed his hand quickly running. He would need to run fast to find a place to hide with Warden, as Warden took off his helmet and cape to look less recognizable. They sprinted had he could hear them getting closer screaming for the general to come out. Onceler ran up to the highest point of Superjail with him and hid him in a vent quickly as he heard the guards slowly pass. Warden held onto Onceler's chest with the most terrified look plastered across his face. Onceler looked at him and he knew this was the point he needed to do something. He waited till he knew they had left and looked at Warden.

"Warden we are leaving here right now- I'm not losing you to this-"

Warden looked up at Onceler holding his chest. "I-I don't know where to go where we would go Onceler-" he looked at him and was more scared then he had ever been before. Jailbot had soon gotten rid of everyone as they had all retreated from Superjail, leaving them the night peaceful.

They climbed out of the vent as Warden looked around and out the window of the top of Superjail and sighed to himself. Onceler looked at him and held something in his pocket. "Warden, you know you can't stay here, you'll get hurt."

Warden knew what he was saying was true, but he didn't know where else he would go. He looked down slightly and then to Onceler, but Onceler had a smile across his face as he blushed. "You know I've tried my hardest to replant Thneedville, there's trees growing there now and I can remodel my factory."

Warden looked at him and blushed. "Onceler that's great but, what do you mean by that?"

Onceler looked at him and held his hand softly. "I'm saying Warden I've been with you for so long and it's been the best months of my life, almost a year, and I want to continue those years out of harms way." Warden blushed considering his wording made him smile before he did something warden couldn't comprehend was happening.

Onceler took out a small box from his pocket, getting on his knee in front of him and held Wardens hand. Wardens eyes widened softly in both confusion but curiously.

"Markus, would you ever so kindly do me the favor of letting me call you my husband?"

Warden looked at him as he eyes watered in happiness as he nodded fast looking down at him. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Someone wanted to marry him? To him it felt like a luxury he never imagined he'd have the pleasure to indulge in. He hugged him tightly holding him close as Onceler took his hand putting the ring on his finger and held him back close smiling with watered eyes. Warden smiled in his shoulder, more happy than he had ever remembered. He held Onceler's cheek as Onceler held his back, before gently kissing his lips happily standing there with him. He stuck his hand out to admire the ring on his finger as he smiled with his eyes watered in such a happy daze, laying his head on his chest as Onceler held him tightly.

He knew it would be hard but he was willing to do whatever it took. He wanted to make this work, for both him and Onceler.

You're getting out of here safe. I promise, and I will never break another promise.

Not again.
