I wake up sometime after 11 o'clock somehow back in my bed. Wait a minute isn't today Monday? Shit I'm late for my first day back in school. I hear the tv on. I climb out of bed and see Jen sitting on the couch watching Disney Chanel eating pop tarts.

"Why are you not at school, and why am I not a school?"

"Mom and Dad felt really bad about last night. They didn't want you to go back to school until you were ready. Mom figured one more day won't hurt."

"Ok, that explains me, but why are you here? Don't get me wrong I am happy you are here, it would be weird being in this new house by myself?"

"Ding! Ding! Ding! You just won a chicken dinner. That is exactly why Mom and Dad let me stay home, that and the fact that I stayed up with you until four this morning when we fell asleep. Mom knows this is still new to you. She likes that we are getting along. She knew I needed the sleep and figured it would help you out if I was here with you." Jen says with a smile on her face.

Mandi and Paul were right about that. I was glad that Jen was here with me. I would have flipped out if I woke up alone.

I sat down next to my new twin sister, and we started watching Disney Channel together. Jen wanted me to see shows that she liked and that kids our age were watching even a few that Nic was into. Mandi came home around lunch time. When she came into the Livingroom she saw us sitting on the couch under a blanket with pillows and some chips and sweat tea in our nightgowns.

Mandi comes over and sits next to us "how are my girls doing? I take it Jen you found the note I left you?"

"Yes, Mom, I woke up around ten, and Allie woke up almost an hour later."

Mandi looks at me closely then moves some hairs from my face. "How are you doing Baby Girl?"

"I'm fine Mom, still a little tired. Sorry about my nightmare."

"You don't need to apologize for having a bad dream. I am glad you are doing better, but you are going to school tomorrow, both of you."

I nod, and Jen says "yes, Ma'am."

Mandi leaves thirty minutes later and we stay on the couch watching tv and movies all day. At one point, I dozed but Jen woke me up when the Selena Gomez show "Wizards of Waverly Place" came on. "I used to watch this show all the time when I was younger with you. It was one of the few shows I could watch with Lexi without fighting with her."

Sometime late the door bursts open and Mark walks in and sees not one or two, but all three of his younger sisters sitting on the couch watching tv together, and he has a massively annoyed look on his face. Nic rode the bus home and joined us when she saw what we were watching. Mark and Blake had football practice and had to stay later.

"It must be nice to be able to go "oh no, look my mommy and daddy had a fight. I know I'm going to make up story about a nightmare involving my mommy and daddy's death by a mysterious stranger." Mark says in a mocking fake female accent. Mark continues, "then after mommy and daddy feel sorry for me I'm going to stay up watching tv and not be able to go to school. My mommy will feel sorry for me and let me stay home from school, who knows she might let my number one enemy stay with me."

"You son-of-a-bitch! You better take that back!" I yell as I leap off the comfortable couch forgetting that I was still in my nightgown. The only thought in my head was my parents getting killed by that drunk driver. I couldn't do anything about their deaths, but I will not let their deaths be mocked. "Take it back" I scream at Mark with a fiery anger in my voice.
