Chapter 12 - Apologise!

Katherina's POV

"Katherina I'm busy and I don't have time for this." my father said looking annoyed with me. He doesn't have any rights to be annoyed.

"Fine, what do you want me to do?" I asked him irritated.

"I want you to clear all this up. You are with Alexander and that's okay. I don't like bad publicity and you know that. Love triangle Katherina? Seriously? What were you thinking going out with De Luca family on dinner? I am really disappointed in you."

"What the hell are you talking about? You were there with me yesterday, but you left. The dinner was with Japanese investors. I wanted to get a deal with them because Marco had few tricks in his sleeve and we would lose the deal that's for sure." I said getting mad now.

"I want you to go and apologise to De Luca family because of the bad publicity. Get Marco to give a statement saying that you two are just friends and nothing more." My dad said in firm tone. He is giving me the look that's saying *you better not disobey me*.

"Apologise to them? I did nothing wrong. It's the paparazzi who made all this up. I don't have any say in this. And if I meet Marco you think that situation is going to be better. Paparazzi will go crazy."

"KATHERINA, don't make me mad. Here is the address. All of them should be home now. Go and clear all this up. And don't forget to apologise." My dearest daddy said giving me the address whom he wrote previously on yellow sticky note.

"But I-"

"No buts!" He said sternly.

Marco De Luca POV

"Marco get up, you have to see this." My brother Franco De Luca said pounding on my door.

"What do you want?" I asked sleepily. I didn't sleep very well last night. I kept thinking about Katherina Hart. What game is she playing? What benefits she has from doing all this? Nothing makes sense anymore.

"Trust me Marco, I wouldn't wake your lazy ass if it wasn't important." He said seriously.

"Fine, I'll be down in ten minutes." I said getting out of my bed. If you didn't know Franco is my older brother. He is four years older than me. That means he is 23 years old while I am 19. He was supposed to inherit my fathers business, but he decided to help people so he become a doctor and that makes me my dad's heir.

After I showered and dressed I went down the stairs. I saw my parents reading newspapers. They were laughing at something. That got me curious. I heard saying something about English seductress and Italian playboy.

I decided to make my presence known. "What is it so important that you had to wake me up?" I asked directing my question at Franco.

"Oh brother you'll want to see this." He said giving me some New York magazine.

First thing I saw was me on the front with Alexander Ambrosi and then I read the headline.

"Who will win Katherina's heart at the end? Ambrosi or De Luca?"

"What is this? Some kind of joke? Me interested in Katherina Hart? What a joke." I said laughing.

"Son, there is more." My father said turning the TV on.

"Good morning everyone! Today our main topic is Katherina Hart and Alexander Ambrosi. As we know those two started their relationship two years ago when they first met. At that time Alexander was 18 and Katherina was 16 years old. Soon they become favourite couple, but their relationship didn't last for long. In the last years they were breaking up and getting back together. Last time they broke up was in March this same year and since then we didn't saw them together. Everyone thought it was the end, but now we have to ask the same question is it really the end?"
