Chapter 7 - Encounters (part 2)

Marco De Luca POV.

I heard elevator doors open but I didn't pay much attention to it. Suddenly I felt body bump into me.

"HEY! Watch where are you going!" I screamed.

I can't stand those type of people. No one is looking where are they going.

I took better look at the person who bumped into me. And I saw that she is annoyed. Her next words shocked me. "You are the one who is not looking. And now move. I have more important things to do than being here with you" she said.

I stood there stunned. Is she for real. She talked back to me. She is not apologizing to me. Does she even know who I am. Of course she knows. Who doesn't? Everybody knows who Marco De Luca is. Almost every day I am on the front page of the magazines. I am one of the most wanted bachelors in New York. Every women dream is to be with me. I am Marco De Luca. I am multi-billionaire. But she had a little bit of a British accent. But then again I am known in the whole world.

While I had this monologue in my head she already passed me. She was making her way towards Christopher's office. I wonder why is she going there.

"Do you know who I am?" I called after her.

This made her stop and turn around to look at me. Her answer was even more shocking: "I don't know and I don't care."

She doesn't know and she doesn't care who I am. Is this woman for real. There are people who would kill to have my attention, while she doesn't care who I am. She didn't spare me a second glance. Who the hell is she?

But I have to admit she is very good looking. With her long brown hair and big brown eyes. She is 5'7 tall and she has a killer body. I can only imagine what I would do to her.

Now I was more pissed off since I came here. Firstly Christopher pissed me off because he won't take back the offer he gave to those Japanese investors and now I need a cold shower thanks to this girl. Seriously what is wrong with me.

I have to find out who is she. No one talks back to me without being punished. She'll pay me for this.

Now I just need to get those Japanese investors to have a meeting with us first. I won't let Christopher's company to stay at the top forever. And I have something that will bring investors to sing the contract with De Luca Enterprise.

Ashley's POV.

Today I decided to go visit Gold Enterprise. If you don't know me you would probably think that I wanted to visit Christopher Gold, my mother's friend. But the thing is I heard from my cousin Kim that Marco De Luca is planning to convince Christopher to give up on some deal he also wants.

I decided to look perfect for him. He is one of the most wanted bachelors not just in New York, but also in the world. He is so perfect, just like me. Together we would make a perfect match. I want money and he has it.

If my mother succeeded in seducing Christopher, this company would belong to me. But no, Mr. Gold is still faithful to his dead wife and daughter. How can somebody compete with those two. No one can ever be good as his dead daughter Rina Gold. She is dead, but she is like a shadow who is hunting me. Ugh I hate her so much.

My thinking stopped when I saw a figure walking towards the second elevator. Second elevator can only be used by Christopher and no one else. He is not even letting my mother or me to use it.

Before she could press the button I screamed at her. "Who do you think you are! Only Cristopher can get in that elevator. "

She looked at me like I was crazy. I saw people stopped just to look what is going on. This girl here has no idea what she is doing. I will humiliate her in front all these people.
