There's a lot of things you already knew about Theo, but there were a few things you didn't know - like his worst fear. You had been with Theo for quite a few months now - nearly a year. He knew a lot about you, from your favourite colour, to your most embarrassing moment. 

It was coming up to yours and Theo's  1 year anniversary. You wanted to do something that you'd both remember. You were sat on a stool at the island in the kitchen on the computer looking at ideas, when one caught your eye. Theo was in the shower, so you had the time to plan what you wanted to do. Then you heard the shower turn off. You were so focused on the screen that you didn't hear Theo walk up behind you. You felt his hands on your arms, you jumped but realised it was only him.

"Babe, you scared me." You told him, looking over your shoulder. 

"Sorry, I thought you heard me." He said through a laugh.

You turned back to the computer. 

"What're you doing?" Theo asked you, while kissing a path from your shoulder up to just under your ear. 

You spun the stool round to face him. He was in a pair of grey joggies, leaving his toned chest and muscular arms on show. You often wondered how you got so lucky. You cleared your throat and looked at his face.

"I'm looking at inspiration for our 1 year anniversary." 

"Oh are you?" He says through a smile. 

He always loved the thoughtful, creative side of you.

"Yeah, I think I've found an idea." You tell him, showing him the screen. 

His eyes widen a little.

"Zip-lining?" He asks, a little shocked.

"Yeah, do you not like the idea? Cause I can find something else." 

"No, no. It's just... I'm... I'm afraid of heights." He admits.

Your eyes soften. You place your hand on his bicep.

"Aww, baby. Zip-lining isn't that bad. It's over before you know it." 

He nods,

"Do you want to do it?" You ask him.

He nods slowly.

It was a few weeks later and your anniversary was here. Theo had gotten you a gold bracelet with the date you two met engraved on it. That night you were going to go zip-lining. 

Theo had been anxious about the zip-lining all day, and the car journey made him feel worse. Once you got there, you took his hand, you had chosen to zip-line over a lake. It was beautiful, the moonlight was reflected in the lake, and in all honesty, you were beyond excited. You climbed the stairs and got to the start of the line, the man on this side knew it was your anniversary. He was attaching the harness the the line. This type of harness allowed you both to go together. Theo got on first, and you climbed onto his lap, facing him. You looked at Theo.

"You ready?" You asked.

He smiled at you and nodded.

The man then pulled you back, and pushed you. You flew over the lake and marvelled at the view. 
Once you reached the other side and got out of the harness, you stood at the edge of the lake. Theo turned you to face him. 

"Happy anniversary, Baby." You said to him

"Happy anniversary, Ellie."

He pulled you into a breath-taking kiss.

You were so happy, you found the man you wanted to spend the rest of your life with.
