Silence

Pt. 18

I open the front door. 

I heard noises. 

Screams even. 

I ran upstairs as fast as I could, trying to locate the sounds. 

It's my brother's room. 

I open the door to see a ghastly sight. 

"Help me please!" 

I grabbed onto my brother's trousers, yanking him off the bed. 

Yes, my brother was trying to force himself onto his girlfriend. 

We both fell onto the floor. 

"Who do you think you are?"

His voice shook me still. 

"I said, who do you think you are? Butting into my business! You imbecilic kid."

I felt my heart sink into my chest. 

He's so scary but I couldn't let him do that to an innocent girl.

My brother turned to the girl.

I stood up quickly to stand in front of the girl.

"What do you think you are doing? Hu? Get out of the way! I want to finish what I started."

I stood still, I wont move. 

He pushed me out of the way and pounced back onto the girl. 

I got back up and tried my best to get him off and the girl soon retaliated with me. 

He threw me to the floor and kicked the girl away. 

"So this is how it is going to be. Do you want to die? Who's it going to be?" 

My eyes widened. He's going to kill one of us? 

"So? Shall I just take you?"

He grabbed the girl's hair. 

"No! Take me! I won't let her die!"

He let go of the girl and turned to me. 

His body moved closer to me.

"Okay kid, say your final words."

Fear. 

Fear is all I can feel...

*Awakes*

My eyes slowly open.

I feel much weaker than I normally do. 

I can barely keep my eyes open but I can tell I'm some where different. 

Where am I? 

I see nurses around holding some kind of oxygen mask over my face. 

This is strange. 

I can feel the energy surging through me but I can't use it. 

What have they done? 

"Doctor, he's awake." The nurse panicked.

"What do you mean? We put him to sleep an hour ago." The doctor spoke as he made his way towards me. 

"Holy mother of- How is he awake?" The doctor shook his head in disbelief. 

"I don't know, that's why I told you." the nurse said nervously.

"What are you doing to me?" I mumbled.

The doctor turned his head towards me. 

"Don't worry, we are just putting you into a coma so your body stays steady." The doctor tried to smile. 

I felt the fury build up inside me.

"Don't you dare do that to me." I managed to say while trying to sound threatening.

Before once again... 

I left, back into my dreams I go!
