I was a mess, I couldn't do any work in the past week after the party. With no word of Elizabeth my brain was killing me.
I hadn't even figured what happened to her bloody leg that day! I can't work because that's the shit I'm worried about.
Oh jack a boy, she makes you insane doesn't she.
I was typing on the computer pretending to be productive when someone came barging in without knocking.
I instinctively yelled "Can at least one of you dumbasses knock?! Jeez I'm trying to work her-"
Before I could finish I looked up and saw Elizabeth staring at me seriously.
Fuck. Way to go dumbass. You called her a dumbass.
"Send me Zer0's location. I'm here to finish the job." She told me strictly. I was shocked, I didn't think she'd ever want to see me again.
Her noticing my stunned expression spoke up again.
"You can mess with myself and my emotions but you won't fuck up my job. I plan on finishing this mission and getting payed." She says.
"Ok. Zer0's down in the Dust with Salvador. I'll send you their location now." I reply in a serious tone.
I've already hurt her, I can't let anyone or myself do it again. Not to my cupcake.
Elizabeth turned around and made her way to the door, but before leaving she glared at me and opened her mouth.
"Oh and Jack, I'll have you know I'm the one walking the line here. If I don't come back presume I'm dead." She sneered with no emotion.
I stood up and opened my mouth to say something but she had left before I'd even said a word.
