Zer0 and I had been wandering for a bit when he decided to stop walking.

I looked over my shoulder at him and gave him a confused look. He had seemed to read me as he pointed to my leg.

I saw that he noticed it was bleeding from a jab a bandit had done to me from the party.

"What happened to you?" Zero asked.

"I was rushing to leave a party jack had invited me to when a bandit grabbed my arm and tried to make a move on me. I tried pushing him away to let go of me but he stabbed my leg." I said a bit saddened by the memory.

"I'm sorry/ I hope his mother dances on his grave/ While she also has a slow tortured death." Zer0 specifically said.

"That's beautiful, thanks Zer0." I sarcastically say laughing a bit.

We continue walking until we make it to a fast travel station. He makes the destination sanctuary and in a few moments I see we've made it.

To be completely honest I was scared. Every look I got made me want to turn back but I knew they didn't know who I was or what I've done.

But what if they did...I have to stay away from Marcus at all cost.

Zero had noticed my distressed face and held out his hand to me again. I was so surprised I hadn't even noticed that he took my hand.

We walked together to where I thought Roland's place was but to my surprise he wasn't there. Only Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai.

Where was Roland?

"Hey slab! Who's your girl?" Brick said happy. I quickly let go of zeros hand and looked away.

"This is Elizabeth Connor/ A highly trained soldier." Zero told them lying about both my last name and position.

He's smart isn't he, this is good.

"Soldier huh? We could use one of those right now, since Roland is gone." Says Mordecai making Lilith frown towards him.

"We can't just replace Roland! And we can't replace him with someone we've just met! Are you crazy?" Lilith said mad.

"Chill out Lilith, we need all the help we can get. If this girls good enough for the vault hunter she's definitely good enough for me. And for us." Mordecai says.

Lilith thinks about it and reluctantly looks over at me and zero.

"Fine, but on one condition." Lilith says and I nod.

"She sleeps in the vault hunters room, I-I-I... I DON'T WANT HER IN ROLAND'S ROOM." Lilith yells bursting out.

I hug her surprising her and myself, she seemed embarrassed after screaming it at me so I tried to comfort her.

"He was a great man and I'll never be as great as him. I'll do my best to help." I say sincerely, I wanted to help these hunters. Through whatever was in their way.

"Thank you" she whispered back.
