While we were eating, we told endless stories of our childhood and stuff. We kept laughing and eating. And just so you know, I'm an ugly eater, so burgers weren't helping me tonight.
I just took a bite out of my burger when Daniel started laughing. I narrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "You have a little something there" he pointed the right side of his lip and me being me tried using my tongue to get it.
He laughed again and leaned over. He took his thumb and wiped it off and laughed. I blushed and after swallowing the food, I started laughing as well. We continued our stories and that's when we got milkshakes as dessert.
"Soooo what are we doing after this?" I asked him. He smirked at me and put a finger to his lips, zipping his mouth. I frowned and thought of an idea. I got a little whipped cream from my milkshake and wiped it on his nose.
His mouth gaped open and I bursted out laughing. I wasn't paying attention and that's when he wiped whipped cream on my cheek.
My jaw dropped but I laughed either way. I wiped it off and ate it. Disgusting? Oh well, whipped cream is good. He did the same and that's when we finished our milkshakes. He payed for our dinner, which I whined about because he wouldn't let me pay, and we got back into the car to drive to or next destination.
We drove a little longer before we stopped again. "I hope you wore comfortable shoes" he smirked at me and got out. I looked down at my vans and shrugged. They were pretty comfortable. I got out and saw a hiking trail. I smiled and caught up with Daniel.
"You know, I actually love hiking" I told him. He smiled and looked at me. "I love it. It's really peaceful and fun to adventure" he told me. I nodded and we started the hike.
After about a 15-20 minute hike, we finally got to the top. The view was breathtaking. I didn't notice the blanket on the ground with a few pillows on it. "Come on" Daniel grabbed my hand and lead me onto the blanket. It was still a bit early until sunset so we just laid on the blanket talking.
"This is actually the best and first date I've been on" I told him truthfully. "I'm glad I'm the one to give the best and be the first" he smiled. He laid on my stomach while I was propped up on a few pillows, playing with his hair. The sun set with a comfortable silence.
Daniel got up and went off into the trees. I looked over and he came back with a guitar case. "What..." I looked at him so confused. He sat back down, grabbing the guitar out of the case, and started playing random tunes. He started singing a song I didn't know until I recognized it as one of their songs.
"You should be flyin' with me,
You could be smilin' with me,
You wouldn't be cryin' with me,
We could be wildin'
We could be free" Daniel sang softly. I pulled up the lyrics on my phone and started singing along.
"And if the sky falls I'll catch it, just to steal you a star" He sang his part. "I'll ride it to battle for you just so we could" I sang. We then sang the chorus together and played the rest of the song. I was smiling so much I didn't realize that Daniel set up a camera. He pressed the stop button and grabbed his phone.
"Why'd you do that! I hate my voice" I whined. He shushed me and played back the video while I grabbed his guitar and played random strings. When he finish, I strummed all the strings and chuckled. "I could teach you, you know" he told me and grabbed the guitar back.
"You could but I won't be any good" I replied and laid back down. He put the guitar away and laid down with me, switching positions from last time so now I was on his chest. He started humming really softly while we gazed at the stars.
My eyes started to get heavy and hearing him humming made me even more sleepy. Next thing I know was I passed out.

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I looked around and saw we were still in the mountain we hiked yesterday. I saw Daniel still sleeping and tried to wake him up. "Danny" I whispered and shook him awake. He stirred and his eyes opened. He looked down at me and smiled.
"It's bright and early and we have to go home" I told him. He then realized where we were and his mouth formed into an "o". We got up and packed everything we had last night. We hiked back down to the car and got in. Daniel was still sleepy so I asked him to drive and he let me, getting into the passenger seat.
The drive home was silent besides the music playing on the radio. We finally got back to the house and I unlocked the door using Daniel's keys. I grabbed all the stuff out and brought them into the house before going back out to wake up Daniel.
"Heyyyy. We're homeee" I dragged out. I shook him awake and he was very dazed. He got out of the car and started walking into the house. He noticed all the stuff and frowned, still looking half asleep. "If you woke me up, I would've helped you" he gestured to the stuff. I shrugged and helped him into his room. He was still half asleep so he was wobbling everywhere.
He got into bed and I asked if he needed anything else. "I'm fine. Thanks babe" he said. I blushed at the name he called me and walked over. I kissed his cheek and went out of his room back into mine, or the guest room, and fell back asleep.
