I was laying on my bed scrolling through my phone when Daniel came in. He jumped on the bed and stared at me for a good 5 minutes. "Yes" I raised my eyebrow and waited for him to say something.
"Can I ask you a question?" He replied. "You just did" I gave him a cheeky smile. "Very funny" he rolled his eyes. "Why'd you decided to date me?" He rolled over and stared at the ceiling. "Why not?" I shrugged and he gave me a playful glare.
"Kidding babe. You're special which caught my eye. You're cute, sweet, kind, attractive, you can sing, you can play a whole bunch of instruments, and did I say attractive?" I listed. "And I'm sorta not kidding about why not. Life is too short to just let things go by. You either take the chance that can come to a good or bad outcome, or not take it and never know what could've happened." I explained.
He nodded and scooted towards me. He grabbed my waist and rolled me on top of him, hugging me. I buried my face into his chest and savored the moment. I looked at him and kissed his lips. We laid there for a while just hugging and enjoying each other's presence.
"Wanna go skateboarding?" He asked. I nodded and grabbed some clothes to change into. He stayed on my bed and I stared at him. "What?" He asked. "I need to change" I stared at him blank. "I promise I won't look" he turned around and went on his phone. "You better not" I pointed and started to change.
After changing into things more comfortable and grabbing the boards, we headed out. "So where exactly are we skateboarding to?" I questioned. Daniel shrugged and I laughed. "Seriously? So you don't have any plan?"
"Nope" he replied and popped the p. "You know what we should do?" An idea popped into mind. "What?" He raised an eyebrow. "We should get on a bus, get off on a random stop, and explore" I told him. "So get lost?" He asked. I nodded my head.
"But when we're done, we can use our phones to find our way back" I added. He nodded and thought. "You know what, why not? Let's do it" he agreed with the idea and I cheered. We went to the nearest bus stop and waited for it. After getting on, we stayed on the bus for a good 20-30 minutes and finally got off.
We got off onto a street that had a boardwalk at the end of it. We skated towards there to reveal shops, the beach, and a small fair. We walked into a shop where I knew someone who worked there and dropped off our boards to just walk around. "I'll pick them up later hun. Thank you" I told her and she smiled shooing me off. We walked out and I looked at Daniel and he gave me a confused look. "You like?" I asked him, gesturing to the boardwalk. "Yea. What are we gonna do?" He nodded and asked.
I shrugged and looked at him again before darting off. "Dang it Nancy" he yelled before running after me. I'm not a very fast runner so he easily caught up to me and grabbed me. "Not so fast babe" he whispered in my ear and swung me around.
I laughed and turned around cupping his face in my hands. I seem to do that a lot but it's funny and cute when his face squishes up. His arms loosened as I went to kiss him but ran again and towards the fair. I made it to the entrance where he caught me and kissed me. "If you keep fooling me, you're not gonna get anymore cuddles cutie" he told me.
I frowned. "Fine. And no more kisses for you" I retorted. He frowned but then smiled and kissed me out of no where. "At least I got one last kiss. No more cuddles for you then" he grinned and ran from me. I huffed and walked after him. He ended up in a line for the ferris wheel and grabbed my hand when I caught up.
We got into a booth and the ride started. I was being an asshole and slightly rocking the thing back and forth but when it started going up and the shaking increased, I got scared and squeezed Daniel's hand. We were lucky enough to stop at the top of the wheel and I grabbed my phone to take pictures.
I took some cute ones with Daniel and the ride started going down again. We got off the ride and went on some small roller coasters. After having fun at the fair, walked the boardwalk, and messed around on the beach, we decided to head home. I walked back into the store to grab our board and headed out. Turns out it was a pretty far skate but with Daniel it didn't really matter to me. "I'm happy you asked me out. I'm happy I met you. Hell I'm just happy" I told him while we skated.
He smiled and continued skating towards home. I almost fell a few times which was pretty bad but Daniel was there to help me. We reached home and the others were on the couch watching a movie, along with Logan. They saw us walked in and gave us confused looks. "Looks like you guys had a fun day" Logan said and came up to me. He hugged me and I hugged him back nodding.
"What'd y'all do?" He asked. "We got lost. Found ourselves at a boardwalk with a fair and had fun" Daniel explained. "Lost?" Zach asked confused. We nodded our heads. "We got on a bus, got off on a random stop, did what we could there, then used our phones to find our way back her" I explained.
"That sounds like fun!" Jonah and Jack exclaimed. I laughed and nodded. "It was lots of fun. But I'm exhausted from the amount of skateboarding so I'll see you guys in the morning. Goodnight" I bid a farewell and headed upstairs. I heard footsteps behind me as I walked up he stairs.
When I went into my room, the footsteps went the opposite direction which let me change in peace. After changing, someone barged into my room and belly flopped onto my bed. "Yes?" I questioned Daniel. "I'm tired" was all he said before closing his eyes. I crawled into bed with him and he hugged a pillow. "No cuddles remember?" He told me.
I shook my head. "We both know we love cuddling so come over here Seavey" I pulled the pillow from his arms and slipped myself into them. Soon I was drifting off to sleep.
