We all decided to take skateboards to the place seeing that we don't have a car to drive. Gina and I aren't the best at skateboarding but we try. The funny thing is that she's always so fall that she'll lose the board and we get ahead of her while she goes to run and grab it.
I started getting the hang of it and was catching up with Jack, with the help of Daniel. We all laughed at the struggling Gina and that's when Jack finally decided to step in. We made it to the place in one piece and paid for our games.
There were other random people here that were also joining our games which would be even more fun. We got separated into our teams and I so happen to be with Daniel. "Come onnn. Let's go see our other teammates" I drag Daniel's hand.
We already had our equipment on as we went over. "Hello!" I cheered and went up to another couple. They turned around and looked at us. They reminded me of Alfie and Zoella. They looked at us and smiled. "Hello! I'm guessing you both are on the same team as us" Zoe points to our vests, which was the color blue matching with theirs.
Daniel nods and points to me. "This is Nancy and I'm Daniel" she gestured. We held our hand out which the both shook and introduced themselves. "I'm Abigail and this is James" the girl points. I smile and we started planning our strategies.
The intercom spoke up as we finished our plan and told us to head towards the door. There was a tv showing us the arena and our objective of the game, which was capture the flag. Once you pass into enemy territory, they can shoot you. You have 7 lives and if you are shot those 7 times, you are out. What sucks is that there isn't rapid fire. There's was 8 people in total in the arena and 4 on each team.
This place had a 2 floor arena which was awesome. Our plan was to have 1 person guarding the flag while 1 went to the second floor to shoot from above. The last 2 were to go over to enemy territory and have 1 distract while 1 goes to capture.
I decided to go with Abigail to capture the flag. What was pretty cool was that we had walkie talkies. Abigail and I split up, talking with each other with the walkie talkie. I was careful going around each corner since this arena was like a maze. I glance over the wall to see Jack and Gina together. Luckily they didn't see me.
I turned over the corner and shot at them, hitting Gina twice and Jack once. After that I ran away without them realizing it was me. I then heard 5 more shots being first and Gina cursing. I laugh to myself knowing she was out and I continue searching around.
I turn a corner to see the flag but I also see a random girl. We both see each other and I shot, running away after. I see that she ran too but the direction I was going and wasn't paying attention. I shot at her many times and heard the sound of the vest, alarming that she was dead. 2 down, 2 more to go.
I go over to see the flag free and I crouched down, speaking to Abigail. "The flag is unguarded right now. I'll swoop in and become a distraction and you go and grab sneakily" I whispered. I heard an okay and I uncrouched. I made myself obvious and clear before hearing a shot. I heard my vest make a noise and crouched down again. I look around to see a random guy slowly making his way towards our territory. "Aw man" I heard Daniel yell.
I laughed and focused back on the guy. I shot at him, hiding during every shot so he wouldn't shoot me back and he started running on his last 2 lives. I followed him and shot again. He had 1 more life and that's when I saw James shoot him from above.
I gave him a thumbs up and look over to our base where we had the other team's flag. I cheered and we all went back into the lobby. I high fived everyone wishing them a good job and we decided to play more rounds.
Teams were switched up and I ended up with Jack alone or Gina alone. We played until we all got tired and we were discussing about food. "It's almost 6:30 guys so what do you wanna eat?" Jack asked. Suggestions came from Daniel and Gina but I honestly care what we get.
"Somewhere where we can get dessert please" I add in. They nodded and Daniel suggested another diner which they agreed to. We all skated to the diner and ate our food. I shared a meal with Jack and had another milkshake for dessert.
After getting bloated, skating home, and getting food cramps, I took a quick shower and laid in bed. I looked over and saw the clock said 11:23. I got tired and turned on some music, specifically Why Don't We, and switched all the lights off, drifting to sleep.
