Ch 5: Cali life

"Wake up Jordyn!" I faintly hear as I slowly open my eyes.

"I'm up I'm up," I say stretching and getting out of bed.

"Oh it's just you Skylynn," I say. "C'mon we have to go eat food now!"

she replies now tugging on my arm.
I walk out with her and we walk to the kitchen. "Morning Jordyn." Nash says. "Morning," I reply waving and walking to the pantry. "Hmm what to get." I think aloud. "Got it!" I say and grab a box of Lucky Charms. I then grab a bowl and spoon and walk over to the fridge. I grab the milk and make my cereal. I haven't had these in forever and the aroma of it made me hungrier by the second.

I sit down and start eating with everyone else. "So why are we up so early." I ask and continue munching on my breakfast. "We got a house in LA like the o2l guys did, so for all of us, and we are leaving soon," Hayes responds. "That's so cool!" Jay chimes in. "Yea so you guys may want to hurry and get everything ready!" Their mom says while cleaning up our dishes.

"Let's go!" Kendall yells and we walk to our rooms to pack. I run to my room and pack everything. "What to pack what to pack?" I ask. I pack the usual things, clothes, dress clothes, beach stuff of course, and all my things to have for the drive over there. "Ready!" I shout coming down the stairs and running outside to put my stuff in the trunk.

"I almost forgot!" I say and run back to my room. Can't forget my penny board. I grab it and run back to the car and hop in. They said we would meet the rest of them when we got there. I sit in the car reading a magazine while texting people.

"Get out of the car!" Hayes says exiting the car and going to the trunk to get all our stuff. "Holy.." Jay says but is then cut off by her being speechless of how big this place is. She grabs her things and is tugged on by Hayes. I see them running and laughing into the house. Everyone grabs their things too and we all head in. The place is like a mansion, it's huge, it has 3 story's, is like a rich modern day house, and it's right off the beach. We all run around in amazement waiting for the others to arrive.

All of us run to the third floor and grab the good bedrooms before the rest of the guys come. I unpack and run downstairs. Then finally all of the other guys come in talking and making lots of ruckus. "It took you long enough!" Kendall says and walks to the kitchen. "Hey guys let's go to the beach!" Nash yells. "Yea let's go!" Jack J replies. I run up to my room and change into a blue strapless bikini top with black bottoms. I quickly put my hair into a side fishtail and run downstairs putting my flip flops on.

Everyone else comes down after and we head to the garage. "What are we getting?" I ask. "Surfboards!" Aaron says running to grab one. "Really!" I say, I haven't been on one since I was like 10. I quickly grab one and we all head out. We all walk about 2 blocks and then we get here. The beach is really pretty, and lucky us we are near the bottom of California so it's warm enough we don't need wetsuits. I throw my surfboard down in the pile twith all the others. I wait for the slackers to get here and pick my surfboard up again. "Ready?" Shawn says. "Ready." I reassure. I run out to the water and paddle until I'm deep. "Last one to catch a wave is a rotten egg!" Hayes yells paddling deeper into the water.

I wait until a few waves that people have tried to ride but failed. I'm really good at this kind of stuff. Then I see it, a massive wave that most think isn't good to ride, but it's perfect for me. I smirk and paddle forward fast to keep up with the wave. "One, two, three." I think to myself and jump up onto the surfboard. The wave crashes and I ride it to shore throwing in a few tricks to rub in their faces. As I'm riding the wave I turn around to see everyone clapping and I give them the hang loose sign then the wave breaks and I hop off the board. Soon enough everyone else has caught a wave just right for them and rode the wave to were I was. "Nice one!" Jack G says high fiving me. "Thanks." I say back.
