Ch 4: Bigger Pranks

"Come on Matt your too slow!" I say running ahead of him. "Are we almost there?" he asks nagging. "You should know you come here more than I've lived here!" I yell reaching the house. "we can climb the window!" I say running to my window. I jump up and put my hands and feet on the rock slabs connected to the house. I climb all the way to the second story and open up the window and hop in. "You can climb up now." I say shouting to him. I watch him as he climbs up and help him in the window. I run out to the door of my room and open it a creak. I see everyone downstairs huddling and watching the news because of the thunderstorm warning. Perfect. I run back to Matt trying not to make noise. " I have the perfect idea." I whisper to him, then walking to the window to close it. I walk back over to Matt and say "Okay, so we are going to convince them that the power is cut off and we are going to act like there's a murderer in the house". "Dont you think that it's going a little too far?" Matt asks. "Nah." I say jumping out the window to the power circuit....

*Kendall Cook*

"Change the channel this is so boring!" I yell. "Yea let's change it!" Hayes yells. "But you guys it's the weather we are supposed to be listening to it." Nash confirms. All of a sudden the lights go off and it's pitch black in the house. " if I could only find my phone!" I think to myself crawling around feeling for my phone,or at least a phone. I keep searching in the dark and here the chatter of everyone looking for theirs too. Then I feel what I think is a phone and grab it. I click the home button and the phone comes on. I scroll up and click on the flashlight. Immediately the room is filled with light, not a lot of light, but light. "What do you think it was?" Jay asks. "Maybe it was just a power outage, it should come back on soon." Cameron says. "I have an idea!" I announce. "what is it?" everyone asks. "So we will split into 3 groups, one person will be by themselves and the other two groups will be with two each. And we each have each others number so we can text if anything happens, and if the lights go out again or something happens meet in the middle!" I say, taking long breaths.

Nash goes by himself, Jay and Hayes go together which leaves me with Cameron. We all split up and go in different sections of the house. Cameron and I decide to stay in my little part of the house looking around. Then we hear creaks as if someone is going down the stairs. "In here!" Cameron whispers to me. I run over to him and hide in the corner with him. All I see is a black figure walking up and down the place and go to where Nash is. "Well, Nash is dead." I whisper. "Nice knowing him," Cameron adds. All of a sudden the lights flicker again. We keep walking and I feel something drip onto my shoulder. I look up and shine the flashlight up. I see printed up on the side of a wall says; We have Nash, your next. "Uh, Cameron look up." I say shaking and pointing up.

"Run to the middle to see if Hayes and Jay are ok!" Cameron says charging to the middle of house. Luckily they are here shaking and looking around for us. "You guys ok?" I ask. "We are fine," Jay replies. "I hope Nash is ok." Hayes adds in.

The lights flicker again and Hayes is gone. "Wheres Hayes!" Jay yells. "I'm not sure but all I know is that we should stick together." I add in. We walk around for a while and then the lights flicker again. Jay is gone. "Where is everyone going!" Cameron yells. We hear noises that sounds like creaking in the distance. "What was that?" I ask now shaking.

The lights flicker and Jay is gone. "Where is everyone going!" Cameron yells. Then we hear a creepy voice say in a creepy voice, "Say that Matt and Jordyn are better than you". "What is this!" I yell. A shadowed figure creeps it's way towards us as we back up to the wall. "Cameron what's going on!" I shout. "I'm not sure, just stay calm!" he says. "The lights flicker again, and this time we are both taken. To a dark room. "goodbye world," Cameron says faintly. The lights immediately go on.

"Gotcha!" everyone screams, even Skylynn and her mom. "Wait so this was just a trick!" I say. "And all of you were in on it!" Cameron protests. "Well yea, as soon as they 'took' me, we decided to keep it going." Nash says. "Oopsies?" Jordyn says. "Your lucky I'm your best friend or id punch you right now," Kendall says laughing. "Yea you scared Kendall real bad." Cameron says. "Oh really? I was the one about to cry of fear?" I say laughing at Cameron. After that we all just went downstairs and watched a couple movies, and just talked.

Everyone got tired so we all went to bed...
