Lily: Demon and Werewolf were just here 

Lily: They took a girl

Me: What do they want with her?

Lily: I don't think she's human, she had a weird vibe but it's been so long since I was around every other species.

Me: Do you know where they're going?

Lily: A place called Gorend

Me: Got it. Jase and I will head over their now and see if we can kill these blood thirsty monsters.

Me: What name did they go under?

Lily: David & Sophie Anderson

Lily: Hurry, I love that kid.

Me: I won't fail you

I look up from my phone and turn to Jase who was already looking at me.

"The demon and werewolf have taken a girl out of Lily's care, she believes the girl isn't human, if they have taken her then they could convince her to join their side, and that could be the end of the war," he nods and turns the car on.

"Where to?"

"Gorend." He winces.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive," I confirm, "why?"

"It's filled with all our enemies, to get her out of their, we'll need a really good plan and a few others wouldn't go amiss," my heart plummets goes down, a town filled with our enemies, essentially a nest, I no longer want to go there but I did promise Lily.

"I'll ask Lily to ask some others to help us out."

"Good idea," Jase agrees, absentmindedly typing the place in the satnav.

Me: Could you ask some other people to help me and Jase out? Filled with our enemies.

For everything we do, we have a code so we can tell between friend and foe, after all, the enemies can get the same information we have by hacking or something, which reminds me I need to delete Lily and I's chat, one can't be too cautious, especially when you're at war.

Jase pulls up at services as we're both starving at this point.

"Where do you wanna go?" I ask Jase.

"McDonalds," personally, I'd rather KFC but he's the one who's been doing all the driving so I'd better suck it up.

"A chicken burger and-" I turn to Jase.

"8 chicken nuggets please," he does that smile that has all the girls go head-over-hills for him, he's an attractive guy, blonde hair, blue eyes, slight freckles on his nose, he's the dream come true guy for many girls, and here I am, with brown hair and hazel eyes with pale skin (I can't tan or burn, it's so frigging annoying!) Jase snaps his fingers in front of my face, making me jump a bit.

"Huh?" He rolls his eyes.

"Drink?" He asks.

"Oh...uh...coke please," I say sheepishly to the cashier, trying to replicate Jase's smile which must look horrifying because of the look I get given from the cashier.
