CHAPTER 7

Nellie cried all night. Then she decided that she had to be strong enough to not cry for a simple man. No,not a simple man,Sweeney Todd. Her demon barber,the guy that seemed to finally learn to love again. She still couldn't believe he kissed that girl. That girl,Nellie knows her,she's sure. Suddently,she hear the door of the shop slam and someone out of breath. When she enter in the shop,she saw Sweeney. He was on his knee,trying to not cry. He hated crying.
"What are you doing here?" Nellie said,angrily
"Oh Nell I'm so sorry" Sweeney said,still out of breath. He slowly stand up and came closer to Mrs Lovett who hesitated to step back or let him come so close.
"Nell,that girl is nobody. Her name is Alice,the Alice from primary school do you remeber?" Sweeney said.
Suddently,Nellie had a flash back

"Hey Nell! How are ya?"
"Hi Alice! I'm fine and ya?"
"Yeah! It's been a while that we haven't seen each other..." Alice said
"Yeah... since primary school" Nellie said,they were now young adults
"How's life? How is Benjamin?" Alice asked,with sweet eyes
"Oh he's happy. He and Lucy had a child last week,a little Johanna! She's so cute! I'm married to Albert Lovett,and we try to have a child too you know..." Nellie said looking at the floor.
"Oh I see! Well,can I ask tou somethin?" Alice asked
"Sure"
"But you have to promise you'll keep your mouth shut." Alice said,with a serious face.
"I promise" Nellie said,smiling
"Ok... can you try to make Ben and Lucy break up? You see,I love Ben since my childhood but he never paid attention to me... I love him so much and that Lucy was so mean over me during secondary school!" Alice confess. Nellie was shocked,her friend was in love of her crush! She didn't know what to answer
"Well...huh... I think it's going to be hard,they just had a child..." Nellie said
"I don't care! Can you try? For me? Please!"

"Nellie?" The voice of Sweeney made her daydream end.
"Ah yes sorry,I remeber her. But why did you kiss her?" Nellie said,not looking at him,she was still thinking of Alice.
"I didn't. She kissed me but I didn't kissed her back. I promise. I would never cheat on you,I love you Nellie,you and only you" Sweeney said with the most sadly voice Nellie had ever heard from him. She finally looked at him and smiled. They kissed passionaly. Sweeney broke the kiss
"Nell..." he didn't know if he had to tell Nellie about the rape.
"Yes love?" She said,posing her head on Sweeney's chest
"That girl... Alice... she... she..." Sweeney didn't know how to say it. He didn't even know if he wanted her to know. But it was too late,he had to finish his sentence
"She what?" Nellie said,taking a serious face.
"She raped me." He said. Looking at the floor
Nellie stepped back
"She did?" Nellie almost yelled.
"She putted a knife on my throat" he said,still looking at the floor.
"Oh my! Sweeney! Are you alright??" He could tell she was worried.
"Yes,Oh Nell I'm so sorry! I don't deserve you! I think I should leave,I'm probably the worst boyfriend on Earth!" He said,trying to be a little dramatic
"Oh shut the fuck up" Nellie said,comming closer to her barber. Sweeney was supprised by her vocabulary. She wrapped her arms around Sweeney's neck and kissed his cheek
"You're a fool,Sweeney Todd" she said.
He smiled and kissed her on the lips
"I know"
