CHAPTER 11

The next morning,Sweeney woke up before Mrs Lovett. She looked so peacefull sleeping. He couldn't help but wonder why he didn't loved her like she deserve before. He always had been attracted to Nellie,he was just to blind to accept or see it. And he was a married man,and so she was... But he didn't have time to think longer,as Nellie slowly open her eyes.
"Morning" Sweeney greets her,laying next to her with his arms around her shoulders.
"Good morning" Nell said,a bright smile on her face. He quickly stole a kiss from her morning virgin lips and looked at her.
"Nell,how's the babe?" Sweeney said,concern filling his voice.
"S' alright love,we're fine,both of us" she smiled again at him. That was her dream,her dream comming true. First she was Sweeney's girlfriend and now she's carrying his child... what could she ask more? Hum... well,she always wanted to live by the sea happily married to Benjamin Barker,but that wasn't possible. It was Sweeney Todd now,and she must accept it. Even if he's slowly becoming Ben again,Mrs Lovett deeply knows that all those years in Australia has changed him for the good and the bad. But she loved Sweeney,and that wasn't such a matter that Ben wasn't longer Ben,as long as he was there,she was happy.

"Nell?" Sweeney's voice made Nellie came back to reality
"Sorry,was just thinking,what is it love?"

"Do you have a dream?"

"Oh Mr Todd,I'm so happy,I could eat you up I really could,you know what I'd like to do Mr Tods,what I dream,If the buiseness stays as good,there's a place where I'd really like to go... In a year or so,don't you wanna know?" Nellie sang.

"Of course"

"Do you really wanna know?"

"Yes,I do"

Nellie looked down at her baby bum and smiled to herself.

"By the sea Mr Todd,that's a life I covet,by the sea Mr Todd oh I know you'd love it,you and me Mr T,we could be alone,in a house that we'll almost own,down by the sea..."

"Anything you say"

"Wouldn't that be smashing?" Nellie sang,now looking at him.

"Nell,when we'll have the baby,we'll have to move,by the sea if you want..." Sweeney looked at her,her faced lighted up in a second.

"Sweeney! Do you mean it?! Really??" Exitment could be telled just by the sound of her voice. God she dreamed of that life for so long! And now she had the opportunity to live it!

"Yes Nell,I'll just have to work a lill bit lon--" he couldn't finish his sentence as he found Nellie hugging him tight. He hugged back and heard her say:

"I love you so much Mr Todd" she said,almost crying. Sweeney thought that she really wanted to leave by the sea,judging the way she react. That made him smile,making Nellie happy was making him happy. He finded odd that he could love again,he actually loved Nellie more than Lucy.
Lucy... that name haven't been mentionned for month. But he didn't felt something,and it's at that moment,that moment that he realized that Lucy was the past. That he turned the page to start a new life. For the first time in his life,Sweeney finally learned how to stop dwelling on the past. He looked at the woman in his arms,a beauty,really...

"I love you too Nell" he said,kissing her forehead.

"Now,I have to open the shop! Is Toby already up?" Nellie stand up and started to walk away but Sweeney quickly grab her hands,making her turn to face him.

"You're not working today babe,you're pregnant." Sweeney said,sitting her on the bed.

"No I'm fine,I can work Sweeney" she said,standing up again.
"And the lad is surelly up and waiting for breakfast" she said,turning to face him again.

"Alright,but I don't want you to work more than 2 hours ok?" Sweeney asked,he doesn't want Nellie to work,she's pregnant for god's sake! Carrying a child isn't something easy,he remebered Lucy being pregnant with Johanna,that time wasn't the most happy.

"Alright" Nellie said,walking in the direction of Toby's room,who was,fortunatly,still asleep. It left her time to prepare a proper breakfast when suddenly she ran to the bathroom and starts to throw up.

"Eleanor! Are you alright?" She heard Sweeney behind the door. He didn't wait for a reply and opened the door,finding Nellie kneeling in front of the toilets. He quickly ran to her side and whipe her hairs away,tracing circles in her back.

Once Nellie finished,she covered her mouth with her hands like that Sweeney wouldn't see the horrible green things left in her mouth. She taked toilet's paper to clean her mouth and Sweeney gave her a glass of water.

"Is it always going to be like that ?" Nellie askes,looking rather tired.

"Until the birth of the baby..."
