No ones Prov

Over the course of many years, the magic sealed away with (y/n) soon transformed the dry land around her cave into a place of life and not death (minus that rat which got eaten by a Dingo beside her, defiantly not her fault!).

Traveler's, who had visited the location or at least passed through it, soon noticed the change in the area and sought to find out the cause of it. Soon finding the new and improved (now stone, not orange clay they noted) cave with silver crystals erupting from its surface like a fungus, they immediately went inside as soon as they cut down the thick vines which cloaked the mouth like a door.

500 years hadn't done much to (y/n) mentally or physically so she still had the appearance AND mind of a 13 year old thanks to 'angels age slower than humans' and a little something to do with the magic which was basically keeping her alive over all these years. The 'Present' that Asuka left had been hidden by knee-high grass so it was safe from prying hands.

"Joey! Joey my lad! come look at this!" one of the first traveler's to make their appearance in the cave after years of solitude called, waving his arms at (y/n) like a surprised Octopus. The lad of the name 'Joey' came in after his father and as soon as he saw the floating statue looked as if he had just fallen prey to the gorgon's gaze.

Discussing between themselves if it was a miracle that the harsh environment around them suddenly became a FOUR MILE OASIS around the cave, they mutually agreed to leave it unanswered since both were strong believers in science and 'magic' didn't exist. But, profit making did.

~year later~

"Come and see the amazing Floating Angel!"

The man shouted, rallying in the audience who were in awe of the majestic sight which floated before them. Little did they know the angel inside was pretty annoyed and barely survived her encounters with this first wave of humans as they prodded her stone wings with their fat fingers. If she wasn't relying on the dwindling magic supply she currently held, pretty much everyone in this room was going to see what this 'Majestic Maiden' could really do. But even if she did have a never-ending supply, it was a solid fact/rule/law that angels couldn't harm humans, and like they always say; 'rules were there for a reason'.

~10 years later~

A well-known sorcerer came into this small settlement one day atop a glorious white steed with his apprentice ridding a mule beside him. After hearing of this so-called angel, he set out from his home city in order to seek the truth. To be honest, the only thankful being in the cave was (y/n) who was mentally cheering as the cloaked man brushed by the travelers and pushing people out the way with his staff.

Not having to even go within 5ft to sense the magic radiating off the being, he told everyone that this statue was now under his protection as a magic artifact and everyone should get out immediately before he had to use force. Once everyone followed his demands, not without a few grumbles, he turned to face the stone angel and after taking off his hood said with a, what could be classed, as a warm smile "at last, I meet the great Silver Wings from Atlantis." Needless to say, it caught (y/n) off guard...and annoyed her slightly.

He told her his long and tiring story of his angel ancestry which started roughly when the messengers of the gods (or what was left of them) escaped through the barrier, like his father for instance, the God opened for them. He also said his name was Lok 'I have no last name because I am half angel' then told of his plans to make this magically created oasis into a city. (y/n) didn't know if she should be thankful or not.

~488 years later~

By now (y/n) had lost nearly all the magic which she absorbed 999 years ago, but for some reason on the anniversary of 1000 years since that event she received flashes of a brown-haired angel, Hades himself, Doughnuts (probably because she was hungry) and finally an apple tree located on a small island in the middle of a vast lake? Whatever it meant she had no idea, she couldn't ask Lok anymore because of the main reason he was dead nor could she ask his descendant Sebastien for the obvious reason of being stuck in stone. But not for much longer.

Little did Asuka know all the years ago, the spell little by little would be broken by the magic placed inside of (y/n) and would allow her to break out from her painfully long slumber. Though, she did consider it a worry that the magic was actually talking to her in her own voice and she secretly prayed to the dragons above that she hadn't gone insane just yet.
