The Governor x reader

So I've never written the governor before. Hope this turns out good. Set after the attack at the prison, in this the governor never died.

I was sitting on the floor of the governor's 'office'. There were two other men standing on either side of him. To be honest, I was a little scared. I was just a girl, I couldn't fight them. "Keep an eye on her, I am gonna look at the others. Lay a finger on her and your dead." He said sternly. He then left the room.

After what feels like hours he finally comes back with two plates, filled with food on both. He sat criss cross in front of me and set one plate in front of me and one in front of him.

"I didn't kidnap you, I saved you. I saved others too. I've changed, I swear." He says as he bites into his sandwich. He looks up at me. He looks like a lost puppy. His mind wasn't in the right place maybe, he looks generally sorry, but.....

I take a bite of my food, damn its good. Silence falls in the room as we keep eating, just a little awkward tension in the room. "I beleive you..." I say quietly.

He gives me a tour, he walks me around the big hallways. People start walking around, I see a few survivors from the attack, Phillip says there are barely any, and very few of his old men. I grab his hand, I always had a little bit of social anxiety. He looks down and smiles as we keep walking. He brings me to a room.

"What is this?"

"Your room! Mine is right next to it on the right. Its lettng late so I figured you would want to sleep." He says awkwardly.

-*-*-* Its 3am, I am on the gloor sobbing. I had the worst nightmare and now time for the panic attack. Fuck. I get up and walk over to the room on my right, phillips room.

The Governor's pov

Knock knock knock knock

I get up and put a Tee shirt on and open the door. My poor little Y/n is there crying. I grab her and pull her into my room, shut the door, and hug her tightly.

"Nightmare" she sobs out

"Shh, I know, I know." I say. Iead her to my bed and we cuddled there. I stroked her hair as we tangled into eachother.

And for the rest of the night

I kept her safe

Ahh!! Sorry this is so bad, the governor was quite fun to write, so I will for sure write him more.
