Chapter Six:

It wasn't long until Oppi appeared, looking very concerned.

"I'm sorry, Oppi. I lost my cool." I apologized before he spoke.

"I know, Sweetspark. However, you must control it. " He held out a servo for me.

It was quiet for a moment before a question popped into my head. "Oppi?" I called.

"Yes, Sweetspark?" Optimus replied.

I sighed and looked up at him. "Upgrading hurts, doesn't it?" I asked with a smirk.

He chuckled but nodded. "Yes it does hurt a bit."

I pressed against his chest and let out a tired sigh.

Soon enough I fell asleep and once again I was having weird dreams.

* Dream Sequence Initiated *

"Great. Where am I now?!" I sighed as I looked around the darkness.

Suddenly there was a blue glow and a bot appeared. I instantly backed up.

"Do not fear me, young one." His voice called.

"Who are you?" I asked, feeling curious.

"I am Primus, god of the transformers." He explained.

"That makes sense." I muttered to myself. "Primus? Why have you brought me here?"

"I have brought you here to tell you that your upgrade will come tomorrow, however, it will not cause pain and it will be quick. Your upgrading will be in response to an up coming battle."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"A life will be taken, one you will restore, Shadowlight Pax. Good luck."

"Thank you, Primus..." I murmured as the vision faded.

* Dream Sequence Terminated *

I stirred a bit before waking completely. I was curled up on Oppi's lap as he read on his data pad.

He noticed me and looked down at me, smiling. "Hello, Shadow."

I just looked up at him and smiled.

"Did you dream well?" Oppi asked me.

'Would Primus be upset if I told him?' I thought.

'You may inform him, Shadowlight.' Primus's voice suddenly said in the back of my mind.

"Actually, Oppi, I was visited by Primus." I answered slowly, as his attention turned to me.

"Can you tell me?" He asked and I nodded.

Oppi set his data pad down and gave me his full attention. "He told me that there was to be a battle tomorrow... and with a result of our team losing a life."

Optimus's optics widened a bit and I felt his concern and protectiveness surge through the bond. "In that case you will stay here tomorrow." He decided.

'No, you must be present in order to revive the bot whom is to be killed and you must be present in order to upgrade.' Primus warned me.

"No, Oppi, I must be present in the battle." I told him.

"You will be at risk of losing your own life, Sweetspark, my answer is still no." He commanded sternly.

"Oppi! Primus said I have to be there tomorrow!" I argued.

He looked at me and studied me for a moment before sighing with defeat. "You stay very close to Sideswipe."

I smiled and placed my hand on his arm. "I will Oppi." I comforted him by sending love through the bond.
